I fell in love with your music when I was an angsty 20 year old, I grew with it, I got married and had a baby boy, his middle name is Conor, I got divorced and life moved by so quickly that little boy is 15 now and I’m still listening to the songs that helped my through everything along the way, thanks for that.

Bright Eyes is a collaborative effort between Conor Oberst, Mike Mogis and Nate Walcott and has been for many, many years. Oberst's solo stuff is distinctively different, musically, to the stuff with Bright Eyes even if the vocals sound the same.

Can't wait for the rest of the album. Lost my father almost a month ago now and I can't seem to feel anything and grieve naturally. What helped me through my mothers death was very sad music that helped me feel sadness, grief, pain. But it made me feel and it helped me through it. This album is going to be what I need to help me through this process, thank you

I can’t remember anytime in my life other than in high school where I felt such existential dread like I feel today. Bright Eyes is the band-aid for times like these.
