Flea is tight yo. I don’t like RHCP really but Flea rules. Deloused in the Comatorium was so amazing compared to all other Mars Volta because of his bass (mixed w Theodores drums)

Matt Rascuache just because he’s not as amazing as Flea don’t mean he’s not a very good bassist. TMV is decent, i think it’s a pretty common opinion though that Deloused was another level.

Alright guys, whoever knows Bright Eyes *knows* Bright Eyes albums are meant to be enjoyed as a whole, so don’t get too down if you’re not into this or Forced Convalescence so much (I must admit, it’s grown on me but I prefer “Persona”, so far) because you might just end up loving it within the context of the new album! I don't think this sounds like Digital Ash; to me, this is a new Bright Eyes, but the essence is properly conserved; what made BE great before is making this album fucking amazing, but you can still hear a lot of growth on the music and lyrics. I'm so excited for the new album, can't wait to fully explore this new Bright Eyes era!
