Do you guys like passive income (from Raiding and sack Cities) or you prefer to just fight battles and take captives?
Any other good passive income methods I missed?

I like the sack city method, less for the labor and more for the items, although getting both is a great benefit. I miss sack cities from WH2, used to be so great for leveling weak low level lords.
Also I know you’ve shown it in the past, but trading the last settlement in a province back and forth does still works for most factions. For some reason as chorfs it would randomly replace the settlement type and therefore destroy the buildings, but it’s easy enough to rebuild a cheap building over the end turn and continue getting value out of it.
Personally I found that this cheese was too much even for me after a while because gold ceases to mean anything, but it is nice in a pinch and great for relations. In fact I like this even more for relations than I do the money because I can recruit some interesting allied units with factions that usually would hate my guts.

@@SimplyDoomSlayer Yeah Sack cities are still pretty good for any non-supply line faction, but especially for Chaos Dwarfs. Trading settlements is especially good for Dark Elves and Chaos Dwarfs as they can insta build barracks with Slaves and sell it straight back.

I always do this to the skaven in nagashizar when playing as Drazoath as they also have the sentinel trait and i dont have to piss off the conclave chorfs.

This is very useful for ogres too. Four slaughtermasters to sack a city, then raid the region for + 40 camp growth per turn. At level 7 reader of portents skill for + 10% research rate. After lvl 7 swap for a new one and around turn 50 sky titans plateau research done.
    Boom, infinite money :)

You can raid distant enemies. For example wood elves are great to raid.

Didn't they say that that faction now declares war on raiders?

Yeah I think so, but it doesn't seem to have changed. If it does get changed you can always to the other method of locking them in.
