Thank you for the help. I was surprised not to hear any mention of ants though and the problem they create by their farming of aphids, effectively multiplying the problem tenfold! If anyone reading this has noticed many ants also on the plants then you need to stop them. Apply tree grease to the plants main stem or tree tunk creating an impenetrable barrier to the ants. Once the ants die and stop revisiting you should notice a lesser problem. I just learned this and it really helped, although I still need to get rid of the aphids that are remaining, hence this video is very useful!
Wow! Was not expecting to hear that. At 45 years old, you completely changed my mindset. Thanks for the share; much appreciated.

Great tips and not for a lot of money! Other “influencers” try to sell products and it’s just as easy as washing them away with water pressure. Thanks again!

Thanks Dan! Super helpful.
Really diggin your vids! Thanks!
Excellent man! I'm glad i dropped by, as i was about to find any way i could to deal with them. Apparently they love their weed, as do i, and i'm standing to lose a lot of $. I will try the water blasting, rubbing, neem and Ladybugs...
Great tips and info. Thanks.
I love your attitude. Great video. Thanks 😊
I love this vid and have mad respect for it. I live in a hot and humid environment where pests are absolutely inevitable. I have tried every organic method I could think of. I have now resorted to Spectracide Malathion. I FINALLY have beautiful plants. Believe me though, it hurts my heart to have to use chemicals. But at this point, I just don’t know what else will work. If I don’t use them, it is pointless to even put in all the money and hard work in my garden.
Thanks so much! Great lesson with lots of info!
Attractor plant good idea idea I haven’t tried yet thanks , good job 👍🏻
Thanks for these tips
Thank you so much for the tips.

Thanks for talking about a balanced ecosystem!!
I thank you. My plants thank you too! Right now the aphids are having a party. I'm about to wreck their good time.
🤣🤝
Great advice. Thanks so much.
Thanks Dan! Just found your site and it's been super helpful. My 9 chickens need more garden food and I am looking for ways to plant wihtout destroying everything and keep them in the yard. Your videos have been super helpful. More mulching, not less because they kick it everywhere, is the logical solution. Can't wait to get food in my yard again. Where do you get your plants? Online or locally? I'm in Oakland and the only source I know is Ploughshares.
Very helpful video. Thanks.
Great tip about the liquid soap
You're getting a thumbs up not because I learned a lot, but for that quick release connector... high speed
Thanks for the information

Excellent video. Like you, I check my plants often so infestation is milder and easier to eliminate. I tried the water spray and soapy spray and it got most (off my lupins).

The best informational video I've found yet. I am so sick of aphids.
Those vegetables looks so delicious!
Good and informative. 👍🏻
Fantastic video. Thank you
Thank you for the information 👍
Thank you, great tips to save my cherry tree, I think I will get the Lady Bugs, I really like them, and plant some garlic around.
Wow. Huge broccoli plants. Seem taller than you. Mine have not gotten that tall. Cabbage moth larvae are a hassle but no aphids. Will try neem oil. thx
I find physically squashing aphids don't remove 100% and also damages the the soft, young parts of the plants, which apparently is where most aphids are found. Spraying with water pressure also don't remove 100% of aphids. I find light detergent spray almost always remove 100% of aphids on infested plants. Neem oil spray is also effective but works much slower but can provide global control of aphids over the entire plant.
By nuking the aphids with detergent solution first and then followed by neem oil with detergent spray mixture after a few days is the most effective way to rid aphids off infested plants. To ensure aphids don't come back, take the cause out of the equation by avoiding excessively fertilizing with nitrogen rich fertilizers.
What would be a detergent solution?
Hi -- could you tell me how you use neem oil? I'm trying to kill gnats on my house plants. Any ideas about them? Thanks!
What detergent did you use?
@@powerbs3527 Dishwashing detergent.
Power BF you can also make white oil by adding some vegetable oil in with the detergent and water. It’s really good. I use dr bonners peppermint liquid soap and any kind of plant oil(you can use neem if you want it to be stronger) with water and it does the trick.
Fantastic, thank you so much!!!
Excellent idea!
Good information for a healthy earth and garden.
Thanks so very much for your kindness & skill. You've got just earned a new subscriptor... 📲🌿
Thank you much! We appreciate the sub. Cheers!
Great video thanks for the tips. I've got ahpids on my cannabis, so smushing them in or spraying with neem is no good, I tried the insecticidal soap method mixed with some apple cider vinegar to help control them and some powdery mildew. Hopefully it works!
Excellent information.
Appreciate your help I've been spraying my rose 🌹 trees every week during the summer months and just before unfortunately my mum baught rose feed liquid and used to much I have the aphids low in numbers my rose trees are producing to many flower bud at once and some don't form properly can you give. Me a one stop way of getting rid of green aphids in Ireland realy wold appreciate a solution, subed nd likrd you're aphid video and other I've saved in my garden tips playlist anyway thanks if you can suggest some plants and a sure fair way of getting rid of the aphids
I learned a lot from just this one video but I learned on another video about apids that they are a signal of too much Nitrogen and often due to fertilizing with a high Nitrogen fertilizer. I have been treating the pest and not the cause of the pest but now I know better.
thanks for the help
I like the castile soap i'll try it. Thanks!
Hey, I am from Kurdistan. Thanks for sharing such beneficial information.
