- My Dyson V8 Absolute began making this wierd noise and sounded like a "pulsating noice" or that it was intermittenlty not sucking things up which was the case. Here is how I went about fixing it. It was quite simple in my case. Watch this video before any other as it can be as simple as this!
I followed your instructions. I removed some popcorn, a decorative sticker, dog food chunk and lots of hair. Now my Dyson works like it should. Many thanks!
Absolutely the best fix - thanks for making the video!
Thank you! Pulsating Dyson 8. Yourfor anything that might impeded airflow. I like how you take it step by clear step, not just telling us to wash the filter again, but to try each component to find where the blockage might occur. I did just that and restored my vac to working order.

Ok I’m doing that mine has a problem when I add back filter. It’s all been cleaned last night and only two months old.
I was about to take it to the service center which is about 60 miles away from where I live. This video helped me avoid the trip. There was nothing wrong and no cleaning was required. Just had to open and remove everything and replace them back.
That was of no help at all!!!
A BIG thumbs up, and thank you!!!
Thank you ,really helpful.
Thankyou. Very clear
Wow!! Thank you so much! Just followed everything you just said and my vacuum works perfectly again. I thought I need to get a new one.
Thank you. Something was stuck on the bottom for me 🚀
Thank you!
Thank you
This is dumb - the vacuum will work on max because it has no sucking load - that is, not trying to vacuum anything. Mine worked just fine until I actually tried to vacuum up something - then it started pulsing. I washed the filter - it was filthy - and when it dried completely it worked fine when vacuuming...
Do this first. What do you do second if nothing is fixed?
My thoughts exactly.
What do I do now?
I was wonder if the flap inside the suction mouth of the bin component is free to flap around? The flap in mine seems to be moving forward and backward freely
Any luck with your dyson?
@@marioalmaguer6178 Hey 👋, so another person from a different video told me that it's supposed to be loose and moving freely. This helps prevent dust from falling out of the vacuum when you vertically charge it on the dock. Hope this helps 😄
When I put back filter on it pulsates. I just want to Hoover the house lol
I think i just figured out the problem on ours. I literally took everything off of the main motor assembly and washed everything in water and so much dirt came out. (Both filters, cyclones, bin, and shaft.)
Dyson really make crap overpriced products.
Was literally just going to say.. for a 500 dollar vacuum you’d think dumb shit like this wouldn’t be necessary.
Totally pointless video…..
