Ralphie was their biggest earner. You'd think that, with all that money, he would get a good hair transplant.
Instead he settled for Joanne Blundetto's muff on his head.
he based it off nolan’s hair
it was from Maury's wigs

I like to think that The Sopranos is just an alternate reality of the matrix, where Cypher was re-inserted into the simulation as Ralph cifereto
That would be an interesting way to change up the movie. Make it seem like he won, then flash over to the first scene at Tony’s house as if he took the blue pill then woke up as if it’s another day in the life of Ralph Cifaretto
Lmao this comment is amazing
Lol
When Ralphie died in Sopranos he would then wake up as Richie Valen’s Manager.

Strength, Honor and beating strippers to death
The shot of Ralphie at 2:56 is one of my favourite images from the show. He’s first introduced to us in this episode with tears in his eyes when he gives his respects to Tony. Then we see his snarky attitude and hearing aid joke by the poolside. At first he doesn’t seem so bad.
And then we see this shot. The darkness in his eyes says it all as he watches Joe getting beat up. His true demented self is fully revealed here in just one shot. Joey Pants nailed this character. Very allegorical.
It’s fucking incredible
He's fucking terrifying. Pure sociopath stuff. He just doesn't care about any fucking one.
Very well spotted, sacred and the propane
It's interesting how different he was compared to his capo Richie. Richie had fire in his eyes, he was hotblooded and wore his heart on his sleeve, and he wanted it all. Ralphie comes across as funny and light-hearted, but he's totally dead inside.
@@radopakcould you imagine that? The sacred and The propane?

I think Ralph was my favorite character. He was a complete gangster: Vicious, self-possessed, and with few illusions of nobility. And you could tell he enjoyed it, which is probably why he was so good at it and made more money than the rest of Tony's men.
Even at the end of his storyline, when his son got hurt and he started to become a better person, I was completely captivated by him.
That was all an act he didn't give a fuck
@@michaelharrison3602 I think he wanted to give a fuck, but he just couldn't find it in himself.

You going to get cute with me with my mother lying dead? Translation: I'm in a good mood Ralphie so dont piss me off.
The sad part is when the dude's like "What is all this Ralphie?" as though he's never seen him so arrogant and threatening for no reason. Dude obviously got along with him enough to feel comfortable calling him 'Ralphie', but Ralphie didn't care. It was all about impressing the dumb kid and steering him towards prison and death.
lol forreal when ralphie smashes the phone you can hear the hurt and confusion in the guy's voice
He's very Persian. Iranians will get the style of his character.
Joey Pants was perfect casting for Ralphie.
Interesting to hear Ralphie mentioning Justin this early. Chase really had his backstory down right from the start.
It’s funny how Tony always changes the subject when someone starts complaining
@@drea4pres970 I saw it more as changing the subject when someone starts wasting his time. I guess it's both.
@Chuck Buskee I felt like that too. But I doubt they would mention him without planning to do something with it (even if they didn't know exactly what yet).
@chuckbuskeeI think they partially did, the original plan for season 3 was for Livia to testify against Tony because of the plane tickets, but her actor died and they had to change it up

5:45 Ralph kicks upstairs but makes sure Tony knows that 2k came from his own pocket. Even if the other guy was holding out on Ralph, there's no way Ralph was going to short his boss. No lite envelopes! That's what made Ralph such a good earner.
"Jesus Ton, i had dinner at your house"
"This is business"
"I know, but I'm talking to you here on a human level."
Probably the best additional character .

He's an incredible actor!
Gandolfini's acting in the scene between Tony and Junior discussing Ralphie's promotion is truly incredible. Nothing short of a legend!
What's cool here is that for once you see Tony recognizing Ralph as an equal. I think he realizes that he has to level with him but I also think there is a modicum of respect and an understanding that there is more eventually to come. And as with this show, there certainly was.
“You got some bad tendencies Ralphie, and I sympathize ‘cause I got em too…”
@@crypticcoastmusic4572The scene right before Tony finds out about the fire in the horse pens Tony talks to Ralph and then Paulie. We see him be a terrible leader with Ralph who's suffering with his son in a coma and then be a great leader with Paulie who wants revenge against Ralph. I think that scene was purposeful to cement that Tony saw too much of the parts he didn't like about himself in Ralph and could never be objective towards him, meanwhile he feels comfortable enough with Paulie to know how to talk him down
Ralph seems like what Tony would have turned into if he didn't have his dad protecting him from the worst of Livia.

Look at the expression on Tony's face after Ralph shares grief over a dying mother. He looks guilty, or maybe just alienated, for being happy that his mother is dead.

I feel so bad for the coupons! They had no idea they were about to get clipped.
Out of everyone on this show ralphie just got under my skin the most.
Yeah, he was the character in the show that you love to hate. When Tony finally killed Ralph, I thought it was long overdue. And it was, in my humble opinion, one of the best episodes of The Sopranos.
6:35 Ralphie's squinting so hard he looks like he's sleeping.
Good football weather, when the frost touches the pumpkins
Ralph always looked like an overgrown Chucky doll with that initial hairstyle - the Moltisanti Muff
Wow beautiful writing. Tony gets visibly agitated the instant Vito says "at least she didn't suffer". He couldn't let his family and Capos see him emotional. He immediately demonstrated his leadership by leading them outside to talk business to distract himself from the grief and unresolved anger that's been festering within and he knows he'll never get closure.
More like he couldn’t let them see how glad he was his mother was dead
