Man, you have no idea what an inspiration you have been to me, recovering from my own spinal injury. In April of 2020, I got hit by a truck on my motorcycle. As I recovered, watching every one of your videos, as well as many other CZcams audio and musician focused channels really kept me going. I, unfortunately, am stuck in a wheelchair, but it doesn’t keep me from making music. Making better sounding music, thanks to you. Hope you have a full recovery. And thanks for the update, I’ve missed the Kush.

Greg I'm so glad you are able to come back and you are healthy!! As someone who has had 4 back surgeries after an accident in my mid 20s I really sympathize with what you have went through! But let me suggest you need to come down here to the south so we can feed you like a good ol' boy with that good southern food and get you back into mixing shape, or maybe we can send you some really good recipes!! Glad that you're recovering well. Someone once told me that pain, excruciating pain, is clarifying. No one needs that much clarity! Spinal injuries-especially high- and low-point injuries-bring out the crybaby in the strongest. I never want to endure that kind of pain again.

Dude, had no idea you were injured, but can say you were badly missed! I kept checking back on your channel to see if I'd missed the complementary frequencies video. And I never do that with any other channels, so that gives you some idea how psyched I am to have you back and to know you're on the mend. Can't wait for that video.
If you need inspiration for more content later, a video on frequency allocation would be awesome.

Just went through a spinal discectomy. Extreme sciatica. I'm 4 weeks post surgery. I know exactly what you are talking about. The pain is like no other. It's Hell on Earth. Glad to see you back.

I hope you are recovering well, back injuries are awful. The incapacitating pain is indescribable, until it happens to you. Healing vibes….
I use my MacBook speakers all the time as a mixing ‘tool’, if you want to call it that. I discovered it the same way. I played a mix I was doing once on the internal speakers, and suddenly all the clattery horror was there to hear, being pushed into your face by those bass-free little nightmares. Dealing with the offending highs on the laptop speakers, and then switching back to my monitors was very revealing, and a nice little reward when you do. I do this a lot nowadays, as part of my mixing regime.
Really sorry about what you are going through but super happy you are making the best of it and recovering! I enjoy your channel a lot I totally get your teaching style and love your aesthetic!

hey man just wanted to say you’ve been a huge help to me over the years & that i hope you get well soon, but most importantly that you get well at your own pace. i can imagine that the further you get from this kind of post, the more you may begin to feel negative things with regards to content creation (in addition to those that come with the trials of recovery already), like worrying about when you’re going to post the next video, or guilt over not posting one yet, or even guilt over just not feeling up to it yet, etc.
i could be totally projecting, as i think i’d feel something to that effect, but i just wanted to say - whatever you may be feeling under that umbrella - f#[% all that; take 110% of the time you need. we’ll still be here when you’re ready, whenever that may be. 0 pressure. we miss you *and* want the best for you.
