Cheers for the review, your thoughts were quite interesting. I reckon it may be because they had to switch suppliers on a lot of parts as the chap said they were having lot of supplier issues since covid and Brexit in one of their business update videos.
Hi Graham. I'm a Bailey owner and a subscriber!!.....and you are right! The new models just don't feel right. However, we are very happy with what we have got (Unicorn Black Edition) it took us several years of looking around before we finally purchased 2 years ago and the deciding factor why we didn't choose Swift at that time was after visiting various shows and dealers there was always broken shelving or something on display. It's all personal choice isn't it. I like Adria and my wife detests them. Hey ho!
Thanks for watching Peter. We’ve mainly picked caravans on the layout rather than what make it is. With our Cartagena, it was the layout we didn’t get on with. Having said that, for us, the Swift just has a better feel. Not something we can explain though…
We purchased an S4 Vigo in June after looking at the S5 Cabrera & S5 Vigo. Bailey have certainly gone backwards. We love our S4 but our next change will be an 8ft wide not sure which yet. Great vlog

interesting vlog Graham........ our local Bailey dealer had told us "not to 'upgrade' to the latest S2 Porto - the quality is nowhere near as good as our S1" - personally a lot of style over substance with the fancy lights - they seem to add unnecessary cost, that said, the lights will appeal to some. We do like the omni-vent above the kitchen and (if it is on the Evora) the drop-down door under the front seats to get access under those seats. Kim is not a fan of the concertina doors either.
The Lisbon has improved where Bailey has now included the TV point near the door, the S1 was set for the front only (with options to get a dealer to add a point by the door) and restrict entry into the van..

Hi Graham, good video, we were with someone on a site during half term who had got a Bailey Alicante Grande Sintra, and has many problems with it, and wasn't impressed with the overall finish. and why have Bailey stopped putting the high-level brake light in the back? I thought this was a legal requirement, as with cars etc. is it a case in penny pinching? but I think the new caravans are getting very expensive for what they are. and the lack of 3-4 berth, side dinette end bathroom models, just two, Bailey Unicorn Madrid & Coachman VIP 520, Swift & Elddis/Compass have stopped making this layout, and now that Lunar are no longer, or are they, who knows, producing? I don't mind the high up window, my parents had an Elddis Typhoon GTX and the kitchen window was like it.

Very interesting coverage of the caravan range available in the UK. We particularly like the huge front windows on many of them. Unfortunately, they wouldn’t last five minutes on our corrugated dirt roads here in Aust. Would you please let me know what the handles on the back of the vans are for? Surely not to grab onto and move them around? Thea and Scott (Canberra)
Thanks for watching. Yes that’s exactly what the handles are for, but in reality most have motor movers so generally not man handled into place.
Hi .just watched your video. I absolutely agree on what you say .the standard of material inside is so cheap .fly screens like paper mfi walls just looks botched up .what can we put here and here thus will do ha .we ordered a bailey unicorn 5 cabrera went to pick it up last November. Went inside could of cried absolutely cheap inside .you can't open the windows without problems shutting them .white walls look like a bit of matt paint .so disappointed .so we turned to a coachman 575 .not a lot of difference on price really .I agree with you .Mr Mrs t cleaver .ps enjoy your honesty and great videos.

Just saying saying our entry level 2020 Swift Sprite has fly screens fitted to all windows and roof lights. And given the extreme temperatures weve had in the UK this year also those that want to travel in Europe, fly screens are a basic. A perfect example of style over substance.
Hi Graham, it’s the colour of the wood it’s to light, I never liked the old Bailey caravan’s, we have the series IV same as you had the dark wood is so much better, I didn’t notice the blinds but to not have any fly screens at the front is bonkers, loo window doesn’t bother me at that hight.

I don’t get why Bailey don’t have fly screens on the fronts windows, I’ve a u4 Cadiz & I open all 3 windows in the summer & use the fly screens. Yes I’m with you re the toilet window, better off not having one.
Agree with the Lisbon toilet window looks like an after thought. Probably that high so that you can’t be seen on the toilet but why not have a sky light instead of a window. By the way we have a Bailey Pegasus Brindisi so no offence taken😂. We have a lot of IKEA furniture in our house and their storage designs are amazing. I have always said I would like to see IKEA design a caravan. Sometimes I think vans are designed by people who have never done any camping or caravanning.

I didn’t think I had OCD either but you’re right about that window. Looks ridiculous!
.... oh, and the toilet window - could be so that it's less of an issue with people looking in while you're having a shower or a 💩. I quite like the look from the outside, makes it look more interesting. Let's face it, caravans are pretty boring looking things generally.
Definitely couldn’t live with that loo window, nor not having a front locker - we can get under our beds in our Swift from the outside x
Thanks for watching. I convinced myself to buy a Bailey purely on the big window at the front, which we never used as it's not easy to open. I thought the no locker thing wouldn't be a problem, but for us, it was. I know many 1,000's of people own Bailey's and are very happy with them.
