Great video. Picked mine up today because I drive about 4000 miles per month. Huge gas savings
1 month ownership, 3K miles, 1st road trip from Atlanta, Ga to Hilton Head, SC. Overall a great roadtrip car with how Tesla's Superchargers are loacated and ease of charge, and Basic Auto Pilot. I bought Premium Connectivity for the whole year. New Sub, looking forward to future vids.
I'm just staring at the incredible glass roof! Congrats!
(2018 Model 3 owner here - 5 years of not having to stop at a gas station in cold winters of Massachusetts - thats luxury right there!)
Contemplating an upgrade to 2024 Model Y after the Juniper refresh.
Did u get your emblems painted? If not, got any links for it?
Great stuff! Looking forward to getting mine
A more relevant survey would be a 60,000 mile critique on the Tesla. All cars are usually OK at 4000 miles even the Pinto and the Chevette.
I haven't experienced the premium connectivity issue thus far. It's pretty instant when I leave. You should have that looked into.
I use my frunk for charging cables, air pump and charging adapters. Use the trunk as a trunk.
I've been looking at the two-row Tesla cars. I really like this video. do you have any more?
Great video! I love my Model Y long range, it’s been a month and I work from home so I don’t drive much only around town but I can’t wait to go on a road trip with my family. Question what did you use to black out the Tesla emblem on the hood? Looking forward to future vids!
Wow, I put that many miles on mine in literally just the last month of me owning the 2023! It’s been pretty nice!
I have owned 2 a 15 S and a 21 Y .Tires have been my biggest expense on the Y I had three flats in a year 2023 all in my Y all on the rear from potholes also someone pulled off the chargeport door in 2022 so I had to get that replaced have done air filters and windshield wiper replacements with husbands help. Also added some lighting in the back and front with his help.On the S had door handle replacement and 12v battery done by Tesla.Sold that car in late 2020 and ordered the Y paid 61K cash(8k was FSD) for it used money that I had made from the S to buy it its paid for.I will probably buy a Y Juniper refresh in 2025 unless something else comes out that I feel is better.I will never go back to ICE for a daily driver.
This is a very honest & helpful review.
When you show the ac window it looks like there’s no airflow for the passenger side. Does it detect automatically if someone sitting there or was it turned off?
my understanding is if it doesn't detect a passenger it automatically directs the passenger air to the driver.
Ahh… that makes sense 🙏
I haven’t bought a car yet but my work place allows free charging. So in 4 hours 35% charge.
So technically free charging for me. If I need to use super charger then I have it near by places. Everyone situation is different.
Oh, I don’t even own a home. And no charging available in condominium community.
Aren’t seats too narrow? I will be switching from Honda Accord 2014 and seats are not comfortable and seats are not as wide as accord .
Not at all. Excellent comfort all day.
The seats are very comfy, I don't have any complaints about them and they are very easy to keep clean
I’m 6’8” and weigh 325lbs. Seats are perfect in my Model 3. The most comfortable seats ever.
Thank you all
Too narrow for me
Just ordered comes within the week
Nice video
100% the same. Good video.
Glad you are liking it. I’ll stick with my Mercedes e class. Just will never be a fan of ev. Great video though have a great day
10 months and only 4,000 😅😅😅😂😂😂😂😂. I had 24k on mine
No issues in 4000 miles is not a good benchmark 😂
Valid, but just reporting how its doing at its current state
So 400 miles a month? I'm at 21,000 miles at 1 yr on model 3. Love it. 400 miles a month? Why own a car
I will do another video about my model Y in a few when it’s a year old. Feel free to watch it.
Why own a car? You want him to walk 20 miles a day? 😂
Why drive 21,000 miles a year? For some folks we have other things to do besides driving.
Glass roofs are utterly idiotic. And it is funny listening to people who still sort of approve of them - just like in this video, they always say something like "Oh, yeah, glass roof is cool. SOMEBODY ELSE gets into your car and they are impressed with it". Which clearly shows that it actually does nothing for yourself now. And yeah, that "somebody else" will notice it. For like 5 seconds. Just like you did when you first got the car. It gives you nothing now. Well, apart from allowing in excessive heat into the cabin. Forcing you to use AC more, losing range, losing efficiency. And that it makes the car more expensive by a few thousand dollars for no reason. And heavier. And it makes your insurance higher too (they do break, and then it is $3000 to replace). So basically, first Tesla makes you to pay for something you will NEVER get any use or advantage from, and then you have to buy a cover to block it off. What a failure from Tesla. I wish there was a LAW now forcing all car makers to offer idiotic glass roofs as a PAID FOR OPTION only.
More headroom did it for me. And it is super easy to clean.
4000 is nothing
The people who should be reviewing this car are parents with at least one kid who commute longer distances regularly. No reason for you to have this long range car.
Unfortunately Matt is not a parent with at least one kid
