I've never seen an ocean base like this done. It's actually pretty cool, all open concept and open water. :)

They totally underused Kelvin here! He is super useful if they know how to use him and ensure they get rid of the old base. They also can build a rope bridge to their base and Kelvin can walk to the base to drop stuff. Instead they end up doing all the leg work!! But great team work tho! Loved the cosy fireplace!
Not the most intuitive play-through. Kind of reminds me of a dog that’s headed for a hydrant but sees a squirrel.
Watching more of the video and they just had him collecting ROCKS that they didn’t need and said, “eh, it’ll keep him busy!” And then 2 seconds later Evan said, “hey baby, can you collect some sticks?” 🤦🏻♀️

I think you guys are too harsh on them. They are playing gor the first time, without knowledge of the game. Its natural behaviour for gamers, we mess up until we figure it out.
pebbles, rocks, and stones are different! if you ask Kelvin to get Rocks - he gets the ones for the fireplace, if you ask for stones he gets the big ones and I don't think you can ask him for pebbles.
Chopping birds with axes after the initial kill yields WAY more feathers.
Evan: this game does a good job at following logic.
Also Evan: sends log up zip line.
Base idea: leave the bottom open and enclose the top add a door on the left with a floor add a ramp up to the roof for rain collection then you can add fences to the roof so you don’t fall off lastly add a bridge with a gate and traps. (For a more detailed explanation think of it as one of those beach houses on stilts with a work area underneath)Hope you like it I think it would work great
i loved the part when at minute 21:20 evan when was trying to save katelin and just shoot an arrow towards her and killed her accidently and they both thought she died kickly because of the time ahahaha

You can drink energy drinks. You find them in a lot of crates… especially the crates that will respawn right next to your new beach house! They give you energy and hydration.

If you really think about it, pressing 'S' makes sense. 'S' would bring your 'rear' down which makes the nose go up (the wind would then lift you). If you press 'W' to go forward (like you do on land) you'd bring the nose down which is for when you want to land (or crash). // Personally, I'd feel 'safer' with the lower level completely enclosed with closable windows (esp. since the mutant/babies aren't afraid of water) and a trap door w/stairs to get below after running up the ramp/stairs, and the upper level having at least 2 log high walls (I keep expecting the stuff to fall off with nothing behind them). For shelves, you could get more in with shelf units along the walls and with more shelf units sticking out (so you're not wasting space along the walls - kinda in 'U'' formations).

Dinner Ideas: I always get a big pack of chicken (10 pieces at least), season and bake them. Cube them and freeze some in 2 portions per baggie. I make salad with chicken or nachos, tacos, burritos, or have it on pasta. SO fast to make dinner this way.

NGL I liked the "no base" stream better. Base building is super satisfying, but I want STORY.
