I get ms lightfoots, and then build hp and dex on everything with lycan race and savage chestless perk.
6hp cloth pants. (Purple 500ish gold)
2dex 3hp reinforced gloves. (Blue 300ish gold)
5/4ms blue lightfoots. (400ish)
Dex, vig or str rings with 3hp (and action speed if affordable) in that order of preference. (About 450 each)
And a neck of peace with %hp or action speed. (400)
With a felling and a bardiche with hp,dmg, power. (300 each)
Cloak is identical story as the rings.
This gets u about 27% power, 210hp, 311 movespeed.
Run felling against everything that has no shield and isnt a rogue.
Run bardiche against shield users and rogues.
U can open with achilles throwing axe on all non tank classes and its gg.
And u hold achilles to combo it with blood exchange for pdr and other barbs.
Achilles felling axe on this build with blood exchange WILL outright statcheck both longsword and rondel bissed out pdr fighters.
The only thing that will outdps trade you is smite cleric and u gotta have enough throwing axes to spam if a tank class turns and runs when u pop blood exchange.

I fear game devs nerfing characters and nerfing random modifiers on gear to be no where near as effective
I fear I’m the only one who misses random attributes having more impactful stats. Can’t play cleric or wizard nearly as well ever since they removed these impactful stats from showing up at all or by nerfing the stat into a minuscule value that has way way less value on your build
A long time ago when the game was still in this realm of fun having and non nerfs. I reveered the ironmace team for their great game. But I have learned to hate these devs with a passion the more they cut away at their game.
Nerfing characters, nerfing random modifiers as a whole, nerfing items base stats. The game has been nerfed and trimmed away so much I can’t stand it which is a shame. I put almost a thousand hours into those playtests loving every bit of it. But not long after this games release the love for it has flipped upside down

1:15 longswords should not be so strong that THIS is how you have to play when the only thing the other person does is just hold right click.
Parrying should be about landing a convenient hit after skillfully deflecting an attack. Not just 1 tapping somebody because you stupidly swing your sword back and forth while holding it up, praying that they hit it

when you get it right is awesome but IMHO is only worth it if you have achiles with it as well since it heals on achiles damage ticks. in all other cases barbs weapons are just to slow to get the full benefit.
