For those who do it in a cup but rip it when taking out here’s how u do it:
So once you’ve cut the bread with cup u push one side of the bread softly so it should go deeper in the cup but it’s sideways and easier to grab!

Just a suggestion you should bruh wuth egg wash ( you make it by whisking eggs sugar and milk) for that golden brown on the top
That makes the bread more soft and not super crunchy

You can use the outside to make something called egg in a hole so you don’t waste it but a glass cup works better so it closes the edges.
Ps. If it get stuck in the cup push one edge so it’s vertical and you can pull it out 😊
