    Austin: You're going to be needing to build yourself a warehouse for all your equipment. Glad your business is going so well!!!

      Possibly I will build a shop this winter. I will see what sort of recycled lumber I can get my hands on I have a couple good leads, and see how the finances sit of course lol

    Congratulations, Austin. That tool will make you money. I got a new saw today and I was just as excited to open it as if it were the first tool I ever got. As far as the imperfections in the brake; isn't it interesting how many folks make or do things they think is "good enough." I agree that for the price you payed, you should expect better quality. They bank on no one bringing something like that back once they get it set up because of the hassle and transport costs. Oh well... Good tools are always worth the price. Keep up the great work!

      Yeah I just have to remember that it is a tool and not a toy. The cosmetic things don’t matter as long as it makes me money!

      @@AustinTischler You've got that right. Good luck with that brake, it should provide many years of fine service.

    Be careful drilling and making changes, it could void the warranty. Contact the manufacturer about the concerns. It shouldn’t be off like it is.

    This should be a real helpful piece of equipment. I think my friend had one of these to use on the metal to cover up the soffit on my old garage. I don't know a whole lot about these things.

    the trailer is the best mobile work bench ever ! thats handy to have at the job . it looks like the handle if moved over would be more center / closer , not sure its a bit hard to see center by just viewing through the camera , it looks pretty heavy duty , nice looking break

    • @AustinTischler
      @AustinTischler  Před 2 lety

      Yes it’s the perfect height for a work bench, and it’s huge! Hard to run out of space lol, as for the handle, if I moved it to the other side of the casting it would be more off center

  • @embededfabrication4482

    now you can bend spars for airplanes!
    I've been thinking about getting one of these, it should bend and score the .032" 2024 T3 aluminum no prob.
    The brake I made from angle iron doesn't make a very good radius
    I'd put the straps over the base not the brake

    Congrats on the new brake. But one thing I have noticed on most of your videos is that I can’t hear a lot of what you say. I watch a lot of CZcams podcasts and most of them wear a wireless microphone. Maybe you could get one so we can hear you better? I hate missing all your knowledge that you are sharing. Oh and get a wind protector too??? 😊I love your channel and your excellent work ethic. You are a very talented young man! Keep up the great work!

    OOOO stop in and get some measurements on your next pass through town! I think I want that crown moulding for the cap on my shop's clerestory! Investing in good tools is always worth it, the wheel on the base looks handy, but the legs don't fold? makes it kinda unhandy for transporting to jobsites. Or is it more used in a permamnet set up?

    • @AustinTischler
      @AustinTischler  Před 2 lety +2

      For sure I could do that! No the legs don’t fold, but that’s ok, I just bought an enclosed trailer (future video) with a ramp door so no issues moving it around! The wheels are really easy to deploy

    • @The_Smith
      @The_Smith Před 2 lety

      @@AustinTischler Great! that'll be handy, I was wondering how you'd get that brake to the jobsites, not always practical to make the peices ahead of time.
