The beaches of Iquique are clean and clear, their sands are of a great whiteness that invites to the pacific ocean to wet them placidly. Geographically, at this point of the map there are no large rock formations, so the sea becomes one of the most appropriate to take baths.

Playa Brava, the postmodern

The charms of the Paseo Baquedano
There are many activities that tourists can do in Iquique and among these panoramas is one of the most traditional and historical places of the city: Paseo Baquedano, where craftsmen and old pampinos invite you to visit the old quarter of the port of Iquique.
This street holds the best years of the nitrate aristocracy where the old houses of oregon pine, which were built between 1820 and 1920, show the architectural era of the last century.
Night walks in Baquedano have become one of the favorite activities of Iquiqueños, who enjoy the climate and tranquility. Couples, families and friends take advantage of the nights to get to know the city.
In addition, the walk has restaurants and cafes for the public. Varied are the offers and places that seek to attract Iquiqueños and tourists to this sector of the port. But another of the attractions that invite the walkers of this route, are the sidewalks of Bolivian wood of Sirari, which were restored in 2006.
This street was declared a Typical Zone in 1977, but due to these charms and the history that the street Manuel Baquedano, is that it has been proposed to become World Heritage of Humanity by Unesco, as well as the Former Salitrera Office Santiago Humberstone in July 2005

LA CIUDAD MAS PUJANTE DE CHILE? LA TRISTE REALIDAD, LAS ESTADÍSTICAS DICEN OTRA COSA.
Pujante; que se desarrolla con más fuerza y tiene cada vez más importancia (podría considerarse Santiago, Valparaíso y quizás Concepción con La Serena que además son las 4 más importantes).
Como dice el desconocido, las estadísticas dicen otra cosa, Iquique es buena su playa y nada más.

la planta de tratamiento y las barcas deben salir de la peninsula a otra parte remota.
Pasa por la jorge y toma un dron desde arriba es muy hermoso...
Con esa buena cámara prácticamente grabaste puras rocas, deberías haber mostrado más la ciudad y esa hermosa playa cavancha rodeada de edificios :). Ojalá puedas subir otro video para cuando se pueda, saludos!!!
Espero volver despues que pase todo esto y filmar mas sobre este lugar tan lindo de Chile.

iquique tiene el mismo problema de arica y antofagasta, esta todo revuelto, puede haber un edificio alto o importante al lado de una casa enan y fea.

Es segura, preferentemente andar por las zonas turisticas y con mucha circulacion.

Que ciudad con playas lindas cercana a IQQ tiene Peru? Me gustaria ir a conocer al norte en coche la proxima, mas alla de Arica, pero no tanto en km...

El agua es limpia, pero no tibia.

El agua tiene sus días, a veces es de veras tibia, pero se puede enfriar en cuestión de dias. La ultima semana de enero y la primera de febrero el mar puede estar a 24°C o 25°C.

Se ve muuuuuuuuuuuuy descuida la ciudad, lleno de rayados y no se ven ninguna proligidad en sus calles, todo seco no hay plantas que crecen en clima desierto...solo las horribles palmeras...el desierto es feo, excepto el Desierto de Atacama.

santiago sabe que los chilenos nacidos en tierras peruanas anexadas o sea chilenos por tratado de 1929 jamas seran de fiar ....pero no hay para que ofender mejor es hacer viral el eslogan "" NO AL CONSUMO DE PRODUCTOS DE ORIGEN Y/O CAPITALES CHILENOS "" en los países victimas de 1904,1929 y 1982 y exigir que se nacionalice los existentes..
