Nana visited Girvan Ayrshire Scotland

‪@hballantyne0‬ When I visited Girvan, from NZ, I was interested in what my 6x, 4x and 3x great grandparents would have seen. A fascinating town with a rich history, which I'm keen to revisit. A scary legend, a tiny fishing village, an influx of Irish weavers, smugglers, emigrants, a riot, a frightened postboy... I also found the great website gogirvan.co.uk/ I did have the nicest fish supper at the harbour. I just asked locals who pointed out the best shop!

I'm hoping to do a few more 'parts' about the smugglers as I find out more.
I make these videos for my grandchildren - they are 'my book' for a digital generation. They don't make any money, its just my hobby, videos for them about my travels and our ancestors...but likes are appreciated.
