    Fellow Saiga12k owner here, I too purchased the Hpa adaptor from Airtac. It’s a really nicely made piece of kit and functions well. The only annoyance is that there was no build guide regarding having to fit up the top section int9 the 12k first before bolting in the actual lower magwell. This is annoying as they released their second run of the adaptor (so it’s been available for a while now) but still no assembly guide. That said to date it’s my only pew-peeve with it.
    I’ve yet so see how gas efficient/inefficient it is regarding how many mags I can get through on one of my Hpa tanks.
    All in all it solves the problem of a 15 shot gas mag so gotta be worth it.
    Keep up the good work brother 🤘

    You should saw the barrel off that’s what I did and it came out pretty nice just make sure you don’t cut the inner barrels. I run the PCU tracer on it as well.

    I’ve also got the Quark C tracer for my Saiga, it’s literally the only gun I’m gonna be running tracers with cuz of the Saiga’s uniqueness compared to all my other guns. Only gripe Ive had with it is the it’s really hard to tighten the Allen screw to get it to latch on, and even then, there’s still abit of vertical play which does annoy me, I get it’s because this normally goes on an M870 and the gas tube underneath keeps it in place, but hopefully there can be some thread adapter that can fit both the saiga’s muzzle thread as well as the Quark C, cuz it’s super awesome combined with the Saiga, even without tracers tbh ☄️ 🔥🔫

      Yo I put one layer of duck tape around the threaded bit and it fit in nice and tight.

    I’ve got one from Airtec but had it pre built. I was told I’d have to remove my magwell then put the adapter in then screw the magwell back in. As I can’t insert my adapter in when it’s fully assembled. Still got it to install it.

      I don’t know about design and staff but as a consumer I would prefer a straight in & out hpa adapter for ease of use.

      @@PewClub yeh going to be a faff when swapping from running hpa to gas mags
      If I’d known that I’d have to take the mag well out everytime I wanted to run my gas mags in it I think I’d of just stuck with the mags

    Thank you for the great video :) ill be assembling it in 2 weeks so lets hope I can do it XD. I was wondering tho what psi are you running? and what does it output on that amount of psi in joule if you have those numbers :^). Since its a tokyo marui im a little afraid going to high and stress the gun.

    • @PewClub
      @PewClub  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Nice ! Just be extra careful with those screws and nuts and you’ll be fine . Test fire wise It was running 80psi using.25 and it shoots 270~290 fps (for CQB)however if you are going for an outdoor game . The best performance out of the HPA Saiga is 100 psi using 32 or 36 the range will surprise you.

    Hello, how many PSI do you use in hpa version for optimal performance with 0.28g bb's i just buy tm saiga with airtac and 6 epm short version.
    Thanks

    • @PewClub
      @PewClub  Před 5 měsíci +1

      There’s so nice that you have the Saiga 12 k can run as low as 70psi and shoot absolutely just fine with no hiccups .
      I suggest 90psi for using 0.28 the heavier bbs take higher psi
      However the optimal performance you can out of this hpa Saiga is 0.32 with 110~120 psi

  • @nonopointbe
    @nonopointbe Před 29 dny +1

    I can put it at 120 psi in hpa without risk of damaging it in your opinion

    • @PewClub
      @PewClub  Před 29 dny

      100psi is more than enough unless you wanna use the heavier bbs like .36 or .40 for more range coverage otherwise 120psi is just unnecessary in my opinion.

    How hard is it to switch from this adaptor and to normal mags? I was thinking of keeping them both, but from comments it looks like it’s a pain to remove the adaptor and use the normal mags. Thanks

    • @PewClub
      @PewClub  Před 6 měsíci

      From my user experience it’s a pretty time consuming process to switch between the OG gas mag to the HPA adapter .nearly impossible to change it during gameplay as you need to deal all the screws bolts and nuts etc …however this is a must have upgrade to your tm Saiga in my opinion.

      Some compromises have to be made in order to use HPA, beside its not that awful, in my opinion it’s actually quite pleasing on the eyes aesthetically. It also make sense for the company to design it around the M4 mag as they are the most common mags out there.
