RED CYRAX? No, NOT Sektor! Mercy GLITCH in MK3 & UMK3

- Came across this old video of mine. A glitch I found in MK3 rev 2.0 but it works in the final versions of MK3 and UMK3. I've made it work on the Xbox360 version of UMK3. And I just got the 30th Anniversary Arcade1up cab and it works in there as well. HOW TO:There's probably other methods and I don't know the specifics of WHY it works, but what I do is on Round 3, HOLD RUN, Do a b+HK in the corner, jump back, Down Down Down release. It's a gamble of whether it works or not. Might have something to do with what frame of the dizzy animation it's on, not sure.

I think you're correct with the dizzy animation frame. It seems like if Cyrax comes out of the animation while he is flashing blue, he will come out red instead
Based on that, it may work with Smoke as well? Might be worth a test

Dam, what are you playing on? It sounds like a lap cab? Or a keyboard.. but my guy you got some decent combos either way. Trilogy was always 1 of the best.. chameleon was dope and smoke but ermac in 3 was OP AF
This was played on my Mortal Kombat II cabinet, the full size "real" cabinet. I just swap out JAMMA boards. I showed the cabinet in a video I posted four videos prior to this one. I don't know what camera I was using in this video but none of my cameras have nice external mics, so the sound never recreates what I'm actually hearing in person. I'll post link to it below this comment.

A legit cab? Mch bro, how long did it take to find the board for this? Mk on cabs are rare af! Took me awhile to get cvs2 for like 400$! The hardest for me so far ever is sf vs xmen. Love that game. I got a few 3s boards on my king cabs and on my Astro cities, I have 1 delta which alot of people seem to love and of course can't forget my initial d 3 with card reader writer.. but thats dope theres not too many people that even remember what a can is much less own 1 or know what it is! I got mad respect rn this is dope, mk4 on the cab is pretty rare too. That 1 is iffy in my book tho

Yeah, just some random thing that happened one day and I figured out how to reproduce it. I'm sure others have done it but I could never find any videos or forums talking about it. Came across the video on an old harddrive of mine, figured I'd share.
