People have made fun of me for cutting up tubes and using q-tips to get the last bit of product out, but I have zero shame. And I’m glad that there’s others out there that believe in getting your money’s worth. Gorgeous tree decorations, btw.
sweetbalsamic glad you are doing that , it’s unbelievable in tubes how much you can get even a weeks worth more . I keep the beauty spatula and scissors in my make up drawer
I love how serious you take your health and skin care and I have totally gotten on the bandwagon- i have a hard time budgeting in high end skin care products but when I do I want to get the most I can out of it and I love how you get extra value out of your products :)
Instead of buying those lip balm containers I up-cycle my sample jars from Nordstrom . I use them for short trips to decant my foundation or moisturizer. If u want something bigger use the jars from moisturizers and creams . Just wash them with soap and hot water and dry them completely I had a power highlighter that kept breaking so I added some moisturizer and put both into a jar and make it into a cream highlighter and I got more compliments when I used it like that

I also bought a small Nivea hand cream for .99 at Walmart, and fill it with whatever kind I like after it was empty. So much cheaper than other tubes of hand cream for your purse!
I want to get every last drop of product out too. I turn my foundation bottles upside down, cut tubes open, I've even sawed lotion bottles in half when the pump no longer works. Nivea has a good in-shower body lotion if you want something inexpensive.

I have a metal beauty spatula that I purchased from amazon that I use to scoop out my product. Means i can scoop it out easily and I’m not overusing product it’s easily cleaned to I’m not introducing anything into the jar either.
This sounds like a silly question but, how are you good at determining which products are good while using multiple products ? I kind of always get confused or just think like ehhh the product is okay and I would like to get better at determining this Thank you ❤️❤️

You appear to be a very nice person however I think you should either get a bigger fish tank and put all three fish together. Just having them there to look pretty and no room to move around, washing you expressing how pretty they look seems heartless and a bit inhumane no disrespect to you. however every time I see that in your cute apartment make me uncomfortable to watch. Plz get a bigger fish tank and please put all three together. PS.. plz dnt be annoyed
Hi Audrey, I appreciate that you're an animal lover too but these are betta fish, which in nature thrive in small quarters such as rice paddies. Here they each have their own one-gallon tank and are very sweetly cared for with fresh water, food, and lots of loving from me and my hubby daily. Also, male betta fish cannot be kept together as they will fight each other to death, so it would actually be extremely inhumane to put them all in one tank. I’m sure you had the best intentions with this comment; please rest assured I’m taking good care of our little friends! 🐠💕

I have kp too and I also use that rough and bumpy cream but I never noticed my skin balling up and it really has helped me to smooth my arms
