- In this video, these are the 10 fragrances I would keep and throw away the rest if I had to do it right now. The rules were pick 2 fragrances for each season for a total of 8 and then pick 2 fragrances that are any season/any occasion for a total of 10. The other rule was that I could only chose 1 fragrance per brand name.

Now, this doesn't follow the rules you put out, but this is the list I would actually make if I had to go down to 10. It's a mix of half niche & half designer that give me five options for cool/cold weather and five options for warm/hot weather. Additionally, special occasions are covered as well.

i recently bought jubilation xxv, but i think they got rid of the blackberry note opening and just made it drydown all the way through. so disappointed. i could finally afford it, bought a bottle, and it doesnt smell like the one i smelled at the airport the first time. booooooooo
do you know if dior homme parfum is the same as the recent release? i remember not being able to find it, then when i saw it available i instantly picked up a bottle. smells like i expected it to and doesnt smell like it is watered down or anything, just curious
Great list also try Ormonde Jayne Montebaco intensivo. The smoothest tobacco fragrance. For me amouage reflection 45, amouage overture woman, Dior home parfum, issey miyake ambre noir, roja burlington 1819, and M. Mikalef desir toxic

Great choice with Sultan Vetiver, I love it too. And Vetiver Sensuel is definitely on my pick up list. As you're heading into summer, I'd suggest picking up a sample of Nishane's Ege, I've been wearing it frequently and it's amazing!

best summer fragrance in my opinion is dior homme cologne. when i first got it, i was mega disappointed. thought it smelled so light, generic, and boring. but over time it has grown to be my top pick! if you just want to smell fresh, clean, and quality, it is the best. perfect for both formal and casual occasions, and great for any weather but best for summer when you dont have much to choose from (cause you cant wear strong frags or you choke people out, or frags that are really sweet or heavy on spices). if i wanna have a beach/tropic vibe (on the really hot days) i wear malibu by simone andreoli, which i hear is like virgin island water but stronger.
I have never tried Dior Homme Cologne, but it sounds lovely based off of your description. I will try and score a sample of it. Thank you for mentioning it.
Fantastic choices! I’ve tried several, I need to get my nose on the rest. Tabac Rose is STUNNING! I’ve never had a fragrance that transforms so much from opening to dry down, and I love every minute of the journey. It’s one I’ll be picking a up a bottle of when the weather cools down. I haven’t tried Montabaco Verano, but I’ve tried the original Montabaco, and just purchased a bottle of the new limited edition bottle of Montabaco Cuba after getting a sample. Glad I was able to find it in stock! Highly recommend a sample if you can get one! There’s an added vanilla and floral undertone that compliments the DNA incredibly well!

I have never tried Montabaco Cuba, but that added vanilla note sounds like it will give it a different dimension that could be really intoxicating. It’s so hard to choose. Many of them which still my favorites can’t be ranked due to limitions. I added a limition that the main notes must be different.

Good list, i dont go fougeres in cooler months overall.
Also sultan vetiver, i use it in warmer weather. Gentle fluidity silver unfortunately does not perform on my skin at all, i had to get rid of that bottle

It is too tough to pick my top 10 but Montabacco original is definitely on my list. I haven’t tried this Verbena version but I heard it’s really great. I purchased Tabac Rose from Jomashop a long time ago with a huge discount but it never came, and I ended up getting a refund. You reminded me to look out for a bottle again every time you talked about it lol 😂

@@CurtisNose I feel Ormonde Jayne’s fragrances work well in big cities like Tokyo. Sometimes I wondered how you could pull off wearing stronger fragrances there? It’s so crowded everywhere 😂. When I travelled back to Asia, I brought freshies or ones with smaller bubbles 🫧
Hi Demi! Yes, I agree and feel that here in Japan, people are quite sensitive to fragrance. If I am riding public transportation, I rarely wear fragrance. I usually take a decant with me and spray it after I have gotten to my destination. In terms of stronger fragrances, I always manage my sprays. It can be tricky for sure, but possible.
