Didn't look like he felt fearless. Looks like he was relieved to be caught.
I mean, I can definitely agree. He didn’t even know his lawyer was going to be there and he just was definitely some people have some shit on him.
i dont know the context, but it sure does seem like he is more afraid of the people who are getting him out than he is of the police.
@@nasekiller I would be too if I was ever truly connected to and immersed in organized crime circles here in Ontario. Too much drama.
That "he did" proves he in fact did not have one an hour ago
That does not prove it to the cops in that momejt
No it doesn’t rofl that would not hold up in court.
Could a personal opinion be made that may or may not be right of that? Sure.
@@halvorson566 It's a TV show. They only have so much time. Everything they show is intentional. In the world of storytelling that is enough proof
“He has” not he did lol
@@halvorson566not hold in court wait till the money comes I bet it’ll hold
That ain’t holding up in court, bub
For real!
a "generous donation" from an "anonymous contributor" might make the ruling different
@@ld2048things that have never happened for $500
Depends who's greasing who's palm.
Bro thinks the court system is honest 😭😂
Conceal carry permit under an hour!? In LA?! 😂
Hollywood being Hollywood, don’t know sh*t when it comes to firearms
Like they said, the lawyer clearly has connections with the big fish. I still can't believe you could get that in an hour (and yes i know it's a show)
It would be on file with the issuing agency
But it was clearly stated that there was foul play here. So it's not completely unreasonable, is it?
@@mehnotreallymyname3888the concealed carry permit process in California involves a 16-hour long class, a few hundred dollars in fees, several background checks, and an interview with the local sheriff, all while usually dealing with an issuing agency that would really rather just not give them out resulting in months of wait time.
I know its just a scene for drama, but if someone can get so many governmental / legal things done for him in that little time, thats not someone connected to a big fish. That's a man who either knows where the bodies are buried (metaphorically) or is the man who helped bury those bodies (literally).
💯
That's literally what they mean by someone connected to a big fish.
Okay stop watching John wick okay
@@freddy04123no sir. If you’re sitting on information, they don’t want you in the custody of the police. Everyone in snitched to the feds for reduced sentences.
@@freddy04123 that grossly underplays the significance of what just happened especially if you even a slight understanding of how glacial these systems are. normally even with connections it'd probably take a day or two with the right people but this shit was mainlined so hard even the guy didnt know this was possible or what was happening
even he was confused that the speed 😂
I dont think any of what the lawyer did would work as at the time of the arrest the weapon did not havw a permit which means its still doesnt have a permit and any cop or judge would look at what the lawyer did and laugh becuase of how stupid he is
We know that fs but cops don't it's speculation and that get thrown out in court even faster from the judges perspective the police grabbed an innocent man who because of distress forgot that he has his concealed carry much less his permit
I think the issue is being able to prove when exactly the permit was given, and the lawyer would certainly say that had it the whole time
@@AtomicFlounder42CCW permits have issue dates, and especially in California, there is a huge and invovled process in getting said permit so there would be a lot of documentation that would be difficult and time consuming to forge.
@@kingjonstarkgeryan8573 considering how often people illegally get guns and get falsified permits, I have to say your claim that it's difficult and takes time is almost certainly bogus. Maybe going the 100% legal route takes a while, but breaking the rules is always much faster
@AtomicFlounder42 illegally getting guns is a huge thing. Criminals aren't getting even fake ccw permits. I got my degree in criminal justice, and most of my friends and family are in law enforcement. I have never read, heard, or seen a criminal even attempt to get a fake CCW permit.
Remember, criminals don't obey laws and gun control only harms people who were going to obey the law in the first place.
Oh Paragraph guy!!! I summon thee to help us mere mortals... Come hither and clear the clouds from our minds. 🙏🏾
why doesn’t this have thousands of likes
Least suspicious permit ever
Still wouldn’t cover him having it when he was arrested
I'm sure if the lawyer produced a permit so quickly it was back dated. The big "fish" aren't going to go through the trouble and then screw up on a detail like that.
And he could have "forgot about it" due to stress
Well it was signed by a judge that's literally how it works.
Broo no way they added Jayoma to the show before GTA 6 release 😂😂
Fr😂😂😂😂
Now he owes somebody BIG TIME! 😅
Even if he had it he is under no obligation to tell you anything. Never answer cops for any reason
He has no obligation, but he was arrested because he lacked a permit, so if did have one, it’s well within his rights to not tell them that, but the quest is why? I understand not wanting to answer their questions, but if your being arrested for lacking a permit, and you know that you have the permit, TELL THEM.
@@thelittledude2022 nah let that get settled in court. As soon as you tell your lawyer (appointed or private) you can have the case dismissed. Never answer police questions
@@Jaredpoth sounds like a great way to spend probably 48 hours in jail, maybe get fired for no reason.
@@Glogdome and saying anything to the cops sounds like a great way for them to bring actual charges against you and make things worse. Take the recent example of the guy that was arrested and interrogated for hours about his dad's murder (that never happened by the way his dad was fine) and they even threatened to kill his dog. Never say anything to cops
@@Jaredpoth I generally agree with the rule but in this case it’s just dead dogma. The whole point of getting a permit is so that you can show proof that the normally illegal thing you are doing is legal for you.
I wonder if that lawyer could make 7 perpendicular lines...
I like how the big issues is the gun, a constituional right, and not the prostitutes.
I mean when have people truly cared about prostitution. Even in LA they mostly give you a warning.
@@kevin10087I was gonna bring up the fact that you can conceal carry a gun without a license in some states but then I remembered that prostitution is also legal a single state so that doesn’t prove anything. THANKS NEVADA!
Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts
Absolutely🦉
Higher ups privileges
Jayoma 😂
Tell me you know nothing about gun laws and court filings without telling me you know nothing.
Tell me you dont know what a TV show is without telling me
No permit needed where I am
And then people like Epstein exist.
People with power don't really care about the rules given to us.
@@Palestine4Ever169 What is that supposed to mean? He's obviously saying the creators of the show doesn't know anything about gun laws. Why would that make him not know that this is a TV show? He's not considering it real life, he's not talking about the characters, he's saying the show itself doesn't know anything about gun laws.
@@Palestine4Ever169 suspense of disbelief has certain limits. Realism is important in hooking an audience and this show has constantly stretched what is possible too many times
you defending it and that name or yours. says your opinion in anything shouldnt matter
Jayoma foreshadowing
dude didnt look fearless, looked like he had accepted the amount of trouble he was in and was just shocked that they had gotten him new paperwork before he even had a mug shot
Pep getting hit with those 115 FFP charges.
For anyone curious the show is called the rookie despite ppl saying otherwise, and it’s a great show I definitely recommend it
This just proves the system and everything else is Broken
Capt. Anderson was still present in this episode... It was such a shame that we lost her at S01E16...
He didn't look happy to see the - excuse me - his lawyer.
bro looked more scared of not going to jail
Why? Why in the hell need to censor the word "gun"? You will get ban for this?
Speech to text was used to make the caption.
I actually thought the Lawyer was Yuji Okumoto (Chozen), but it's another actor (Chase Kim).
2 tiered justice ain't just in the picture show.
I need that lawyer
Hope you can afford him.😂😂😂
Under paid my butt. My small town cops make $100k plus for doing nothing
Ayyeeee. We’re seeing that play out first hand!! But with the Supreme Court and corporations!! I love watching documentaries
Bro clearly wanted to be in that police station and did not want to be in the presence of that lawyer
“The” lawyer. every cartel has “the” lawyer. y’all seen Ozark?
He seemed scared that he was released that fast and the lawyer, not his lawyer is a scary thing to see when you are behind bars
I'm sorry what? Permit?? The hell is that?
A VALID weapon permit, in under an hour, in CALIFORNIA? Tell me you've never tried to get a permit ANYWHERE!
In Ohio you need no permit to own a weapon
This is a real thing. One time I had a job in highway construction, and it came to be that I needed flagging certification and we didn't have time to send me to get it.
That same day my boss came up to me and handed me my certification card, and it was an official government certification card as though I'd taken the proper courses. Some people really do have the pull in real life to just hand out certifications regardless of actual qualifications.
EVERY CLIP Of this show makes me want to watch! :) lol
...looks like a greaT show :)
Gun means pound sign, got it 🤣
Shouldnt need a permit to carry anyway
" Law makes everyone equal but justice goes to the highest bidder." Rule of Acquisition 138
Cops starting salary in my area is 6 figures AND they get paid vacations whenever they want to. (Assuming there are black people around)
The TV show is call Laverne and Shirley. He is about to lose his job at the chocolate factory. His name is Willy
Your lying it's the rookie ... Have watched it several times😅
@@kristinmariah I'm pretty sure that is Laverne and Squiggy.
'the' lawyer
That's not how gun permits work.
This show had such great potential.
Cops are not underpaid.
I can already hear the hayons comments
In Illinois a form like that would never fly since a judge does not have the authority to grant anyone a conceal or a carry permit.
Lol this is a joke, the cops will just come up with some other bullshit to hold him, they do it literally all the time
The fact that gun permits CAN be issued that fast and yet aren’t tells you all you need to know about that city.
Getting a permit post arrest does diddly for a previous crime. Imagine getting arrested for a DUI, getting sober, then after the arrest blowing a .00 and being like "OH BUT LOOK NO ALCOHOL"
if I'm this guy I'd be concerned with what the "big fish" is going to do to me depending on if him getting me out of this mess made him mad or not.
Jamal abazii from criminal minds???? What are you doing hereee
Why is the word gun censored at the beginning?
Also, he has contacts that strongly believe in The Second Amendment more than most of U.S.
Dude talked too much. That's the lawyer, uh duh, I mean MY lawyer. Don't answer questions.
Idk bro looked scared of that layer
If he didn't have the permit when he got arrested, then there's no way it should count enough to get him released.
I mean he could just shut the f*ck up but the lawyer was too badass that he asked he has?
😱😱😱😱😱😳😳😳😳😳 That’s really 100% messed up!!!!!! 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
So why did they have to put a star on the screen in place of the word gun
You have to censor the word gun????
Permit for a firearm? Its called the 2nd Amendment 😂😂😂😂
This has got to be the stupidest, least believable cops TV show ever, even when compared to literal turd like 99 Brooklyn
Well... Buck's mission failed in detaining one of the NCA higher-ups.
Its hilarious because in California its notoriously difficult to get a concealed carry permit
Only permit a citizen needs is 2A.
The woman man-splaining is awesome.
Love how everyone is like, oh, that's so unrealistic to get a permit that fast or he didn't have the permit at the time so it wouldn't matter. Criminals don't follow the law geniuses.
I thought he lost his hand in Vietnam
Who called him is none of your dame concern and watch your tone.
That guy is getting silenced 100%, thats why he cant go to jail. They dont want him speaking with the detectives
There are no carry permits in california
Sorry you lost me after saying pigs are under paid.
I would love to have a lawyer like this but something is wrong why is it why is is client weary of his lawyer?
Cops underpaid? I love this shows set in alternate universes
LA pd is paid very well and one of finest retirements in nation
Why the system dosent work
Putrid corruption 😢
Who has the juice 🤣
Cops are NOT underpaid 😂😂🎉
The "may issue" issuance of permits for the exercise of your rights, in this case the right to bear arms, is correctly described here as creating a class system of citizens and civilians. Which is absolutely wrong to propagate, and is why the NYSRPA case was decided the way it was.
Started off wrong
Why wouldnt they just get him a permit before he took a chance by getting arrested?!
Fillian
Carry permits are unconditional
Amen to that. Imagine having to pay to use a constitutional right.
I love how this is passed off as totally normal that you can bribe your way to get a carry permit. Nevermind that the constitution says Shall Not be Infringed.
Who tf thinks cops are underpaid 😂
Cops aren’t underpaid
That is called a shark! You pay them high enough they’ll jump outta bed hungover bruh it’s a HUGE case
Sad part is, Californian sheriff was busted only providing conclealed carry permits to their donors.
They aren't rights if they are for sale.
Cool story, but a judge who is backdating a permit would commit felony forgery basically.
Tbh my first assumption based on how confused he was about the permit is witness protection
Same here. Must be a high level federal snitch under witness protection.
You can get a permit for hash now?
