This video BREATHES tons of experience. Ive enjoyed your videos for some time now. Your insight has been highly valuable. Thankyou.
Lol this is my third time taking calculus. Took it twice in high school but my priorities were elsewhere so I never made it past unit 4 haha. Third times a charm though!!
This is my second time bro. Anyway, have you passed yet?
At 0:17 he says "calculate the like button" and the like button in the CZcams UI lights up. That's the first time I've seen that, weird.
I wish I followed those steps when i was in college. Especially your tip no5.. .. Thank you sir..
Always welcome
Im taking applied calculus, which starts next week and Im so so nervous! I havent taken math in literally 6 years and Im bad at math. However I do need to pass this course for a pre-requisite. So nervous.
How is it?
@@ezrahpalmos8722 sounds like a hard fail lmfao
I could add a few more tips on how to pass Calculus and other math classes (e.g., Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Statistics, etc.,) in College:
1. Seek help. The minute when a student finds out they failed a midterm exam or homework assignment or quiz, is when they should seek help from their professor and TA. The student and professor/TA should have a conversation on what went wrong with the exam, quiz, or homework assignment, and how to improve (e.g., practice, attend class, review certain skills (e.g., algebra and trigonometry skills), take better notes, etc.).
2. Review certain skills. One of the reasons why people struggle or fail Calculus 1 is that they come ill prepared with poor algebra and/or trigonometry skills even if those people got A's or B's in Pre-Calculus in high school or college. For Calculus 2, many students have terrible Calculus 1 (they struggle with differentiation and/or basic integration) and/or Trigonometry skills. For Calculus 3 and Differential Equations, many students arrived to these classes with poor Calculus 1 and 2 skills, and may have trouble with basic Linear Algebra as well (e.g., matrices, vectors, eigenvalues). The point is math is cumulative and if your math skills are not up to speed with the math class, prepare to get exposed.
3. Never underestimate the difficulty of a math class. When I took Linear Algebra, the difficulty started out at the high school level in the first week. I thought this was going to be a piece of cake. But as the semester ended, I had trouble understanding what was going on. Also, I struggled with the proofs in Linear Algebra and my Linear Algebra class wanted me to do some proofs. Thank god, I passed that math class with a C+. The point is that if you are overconfident in math, you could fail math.
Tomorrow is my midterm exam and I'm watching this right now🙂
Good luck! 😀
This class is wack. I have a 42 I need 55 to get a C which is mandatory
Is it just me or most math youtuber mostly do calculus related videos. I don't really understand the fascination that people have with calculus i find it kinda weird tbh....
