This is the story of a diesel with a claw...but not the "magic" one you've heard of. This is how he was introduced in the TEOS universe! I had hoped to get this out by the actual 10 year anniversary of TEOS but I had several delays, perhaps most distressing being when I accidentally deleted a large chunk of the footage. So that will explain why some bits look cheap or inconsistent.
My jaw fell to the floor and my brain has exploded. I don’t know if this has been teased before but holy moly this came out of nowhere.

Thanks for all the kind comments! This was challenging but fun to make! I should address that the ending is not meant to be a cliffhanger, just an ominous foreshadowing of the future. There is no "Part 2". This is just meant to show how Diesel 10 came to the island in my canon. I intentionally left the details vague (like Diesel 10 and Lady) to give him more mysterious vibes and a reason so that the engines wouldn't know he was related to Boggiston, which is something I didn't think clearly in Wrath on the Rails. There will be one or two more of these prequel "specials" this year. Diesel 10 won't be the focus but he may make a cameo or something.
So Shining Time, Splatter and Dodge, Mr. Conductor, Junior, Lily, Burnet etc don't exist in your series?
Nice to see that you're getting more of the newer TRS19 models. 😊
Maybe if you have enough storage or not you can get the other models that have bouncing controls from other sites like Sudrian Industries, Sodor Factories, Patreon, Marvelous Mainland Model Works etc.

@@jeremiahsisaias8677 I think only Shining Time, Stacy Jones, Billy Twofeathers, Mr. Conductor and Junior don't exist. Splatter and Dodge do exist because they both appeared in NWR Origins: Great Western Escape. I think Lily, Burnett and Patch would exist without any of the whole magic ordeal.

I love this story, T1E2H3. It allows Diesel 10 to exist within the Thomas universe, or at least the TEOS universe, while also incorporating some elements of TATMR in it as well. Great job, bro.

A solid story. The part where Gordon has a blank look on his face after Diesel 10 rescues him is a nice scene. It helps him to analyze Diesel 10's true nature.
I really like how Gordon was the engine diesel 10 rescued I'm not sure if it was intentional but it makes wrath on the rails more powerful seeing as how Gordon was the one who witnessed Diesel 10s noble sacrifice
Even with deleting about half the footage, I barely saw and inconsistencies or weird happenings.
Well done sir. Brings me back to the Nostalgic NWR Origins.
"He always seemed to go in the right direction. Albeit very slowly." 10/10 for a great story and warships with arcade games on their heads! 😂 Great NWR origins idea! And a great job with the Diesel 10 voice!

I love how this video is almost “Season 5” styled. Especially including the Miner’s Halt from A Big Surprise For Percy. And Arry and Bert and Derek who were introduced in that Season.

This story was great! A perfect explanation for how Diesel 10 ended up on Sodor in the TEOS universe, and I like how you worked in references to TATMR while still keeping it mostly realistic. I wasn't expecting to see Diesel 10 save Gordon on the viaduct - the first of many moral dilemmas he would pose for Sir Topham Hatt!
I've always been a fan of people's takes on Diesel 10 and I really enjoyed this one. I also like how you included Lady and the Magic Railroad, but without the actual magic element.
Yeah, but remember TATMR was a movie on Thomas and Friends and Shining Time Station.

Great story you wrote there. You actually gave Diesel 10 more depth and complexity. Love how you given him a traumatic backstory that explains why he’s hostile and aggressive towards the steam locomotives and which leads to his somewhat redemption arc by saving Gordon’s life from falling of that viaduct.
Sometimes I imagine Diesel 10 is an pstd shell shocked ex military service engine due to the camouflage paint. Potential back story was he served in a combat engineering unit and saw the horrors of war.

What a surprise for tonight! I just came back from doing 3 hours of homework and studying at my college library for an exam tomorrow so the shower I just took and this will be the perfect way to wind down before bed!

This was a surprise to see! I like the unanswered questions about Diesel 10's history. As the audience, we know a bit more than the engines but even we don't know every single detail! Very clever idea having Lady be a preserved private engine on a heritage railway. The ending where Diesel 10 climbs Gordon's Hill toward the dark horizon is probably one of the most mysterious and chilling scenes I've seen in one of your videos. It's like your out in the woods and away in the distance, you suddenly think you just saw Bigfoot or the Jersey Devil duck behind a tree for a split second and a feeling of dread comes onto you and yet you become suspicious. That's the feeling right there for that scene.

With the Halloween season approaching, I'll definitely be watching your horror stories soon. I love 'The Eyes' and 'Revenge of the Ghost Train'.
This is a very interesting origin story of a character that came from a movie that is dispised immensely.
Funny thing is i actually love the Magic railroad but I don’t deny the damages it does to the continuity and lore of the show. To me it’s a fun movie when looking at it on its own. Though that might be nostalgia.

Really impressive. Another alternate story of Diesel 10 coming to Sodor. Interesting to have him already chase Lady across the viaduct before, with the mainland having a magic railway. And 'Arry and Bert are there rather than Splatter and Dodge.

Even after 10 years, Thomas1Edward2Henry3 continues to amaze his audience. As for this video, it was interesting to hear your take on the “Thomas and the Magic Railroad” story by making the Magic Railroad less of a magical dimension and more of a preservation railway, as well as the incorporation of Mr. Boggiston, who I assume is taking the place of PT Boomer in this universe. Although I do wish individual voice actors were involved in this production, like in videos prior, I can understand why. And with that being said, I, Andrew Homer, say goodbye, and wish you the best of luck with whatever life has in store for you.

I enjoy seeing people's headcanons come to life, especially when they incorporate certain aspects from the original series in creative and interesting ways (such as the viaduct). I enjoyed every part of this production thoroughly, which is something I usually don't feel when it comes to fan content. I have a feeling that this video is gonna stick with me for a couple days. Plus that theme at 9:30 sounds incredible in that key. Oddly nostalgic in a way.
By the way, I don't personally mind the swearing in your videos, but I thought you said somewhere that you didn't want to do it anymore. Was it for the obvious CZcams reasons or did you just want to have it here?

Nice story about Diesel 10, it kinda reminds of TATMR because of some of the scenes, when there was debris in one of the lines, it was a good thing Diesel 10 cleared the line, since Gordon was coming down that line with the debris and he saved Gordon’s life by removing the debris of the line.
