The way Ray kept shooting daggers at Boston with his eyes, he's so angry with him for ruining it for him and Sand. And hearing Sand tell his mom that they're just friends was crushing. Even Nick called Boston out for being an asshole, and told him not to blame the edible.
Nick is a 🤡 I lost every sympathy for him
1:09 mew being raised by two loving women sort of explains why he is so well adjusted and emotionally mature. same goes with sand. the way he's so free spirited, ambitious and kind and looks out for ray can be linked back to his cool and supportive mom. on the other hand, we have top who was given all the privilege and freedom in the world but grew up with parents who were always busy and had no time for him. he ended up as an arrogant prick who tries to find fulfillment in sex and drugs. and ray, his mother left him broken and made him feel unworthy of love. he seems cool and unbothered but is actually very fragile and sensitive. due to the lack of care shown to him as a child, he obsessively latched on to the first person who had been there for him (mew).
I love how all these characters and their personalities/actions as adults are consistent with the childhood they had.

All the foreshadowing is so intense! From the professor talking about possible friendship fallout to Boston talking about he hated Drake’s gut because he took videos of him. I know this is only part 1 but here I am again hoping Top has changed. Then again Sand did say he can never change 😭

There's not enough appreciation for the portrayal of Top and Mew in the comments; these two are in a textbook cute moment at the start of this ep and the tension is still present, I am truly impressed at how these two telegraph something is not quite right even when they're saying and doing the right things (we, the audience, know Top is not being fully honest and has slept with Boston and done coke at least once since he started pursuing Mew, and we know Mew is still suspicious of Top, so the tension makes sense).
[Edited to add: ok so a lot of people are commenting about the plot or the characters and y'all I meant the acting! Force and Book as Top and Mew are killing it. If you don't like the characters they're doing a good job. If you think they don't work as a couple they're doing a good job. I think it's impressive that they can have what should be a cute moment but carry the tension of their characters' backstory and history into the scene so it doesn't feel cute; that was my point. Because this isn't a love story, it's slice of life, so it's messier than romance tropes.]
Sadly all they see are sandray and ton nick. Maybe since the characters of top and mew seems boring to some so they skip their scenes.

As for now their story is not necessarily intriguing or anything like other ships.... it's just straight up some cute moments so it may seem boring but the drama is yet to come and I think it will become interesting...... I'm waiting for that

Top came after Sand, but got his drinks first and he also got Mew, then it’s Sand coming before him, but waiting for his drinks, he’s also waiting for the one who has feelings for Mew and this is such a beautiful way of putting everything together. Also, Sand was with someone first and Top came after and stole that person, which tells you that Top has been always on top and ahead of Sand, but one day he will be the one left suffering because he thinks he can get his way and do things not holding himself accountable, not even having remorse, because after fcking Boston, he was as if nothing happened. This is why I love well thought out scripts 👏

The thing which makes me crazy is Book and Froce are friends more then 16 years and they are best friends, I can't imagine kissing my best friends I really appreciate the hard work they are putting in the characters like giving their best for the series 😂😂

Finally we get a bit of Ton's point of view on Nick's actions! Up until now the show gave more importance to some instances rather than others (due to the overall plot as well). For instance, Boston's recording Mew and Ray kissing was given a lot of attention from the get go, and portrayed as a very bad thing to do (rightfully so). But up until now Nick secretly recording Boston hadn't been properly addressed, especially from Ton's point of view. I loved Nick's expression when Ton said to Gap "I don't wanna be friends with someone who sneakily recorded me. Disgusting", FINALLY. It seems like Nick is starting to understand that what he did was wrong on SO many levels, apart from being illegal. Still, I really don't like how, again, he is trying to blame Ton for Gap's actions, or for what he himself did too. Even if it is supposed to be a "joke", or just innocent banter, I just really dislike how Nick keeps saying stuff like "you have made many enemies" or "it serves you right for being slutty". I just hate it. At this point I can't wait for Ton to find out, and treat Nick accordingly. Because it needs to be very very clear to everyone, RECORDING SOMEONE IN A SEXUAL AND PRIVATE SETTING WITHOUT THEIR CONSENT IS ILLEGAL, DISTURBED AND DISGUSTING. No one, NO ONE, deserves it.

Trust me this is the most sensible episode of this series. It's not criticism, it's just that everything made sense just in end of this episode. Firstkhaotung are definately the essence of show.🧿
And ton although a jerk of character, but his acting✨
I feel like it's such a blink and you miss it moment, but Mew being the most mentally stable and self-respecting of the lot while also being presented as the only one so far to have a functional family is so on point. He doesn't self-harm w/ substance use like Ray, doesn't rely on physical intimacy to avoid his own head like Top, didn't close his heart and become self-centered and egotistical like Boston. He knows what he wants, he knows how to walk away if people don't respect him, and like he said, he has never needed to rely on a passionate relationship to make him whole because he was showered with love and care since a very young age. Yes having a boyfriend is nice and he's loving it, but I think he was 100% honest when he said he was happy to love and be loved by his family and friends enough that he didn't really need one.
Now of course, his idea of a relationship seems to be modeled on the respect he has seen between his mothers, and he's about to understand through his relationship with Top that not everyone values respect and honesty as much as he does. But I feel like even if the worst were to happen, his family would still be here to support him and raise him up after. It's such a lovely storyline.

In my opinion, Top and Boston really deserve each other. Both are the same, Boston just doesn't hide his true colors but Top is sneaky with who he really is.
