I thought Ray was incredibly selfish, manipulative, a bit creepy, I just didn’t like his character at all.
I never understood the fuss over him as I found him unlikable.
I think the comments praising him so much were from the actors fans being biased about ‘him’ rather than actually thinking about the ‘characters’ flawed personality, it was rather annoying.

Ray’s the absolute highlight! That guy may have a drinking problem but i totally love his personality. He undeniably has wit, balls and his straightforwardness is more than sexy.

I can't believe the journey of 12 weeks ends today. This series really made my weekends, made me mad, angry, laugh, cry and curse for the characters. Months and years from now on, people might say the show is overrated but only us fans who waited every week for an episode will know how iconic the show is. Thank you to the cast, director and staff for giving us the best series of 2023.

The moment Ray said "You're my boyfriend" to Sand again, I started to believe in Ray. He's gonna save this game. Glad that he can see the full picture & he's taking action for it now 😌💕
I absolutely love Ray. His character development is something else 🤌 I luv how he deals with Sand - Boeing & Sand - Top situation 😌
YES Ray is the best character in this whole series. He was the only one real the whole time. He played full out in all situations; he was who he was love or not. He loved Mew but Mew only seen Ray as less then, someone who would not get it together ever. Life is full of ups and down. Don't throw sticks Mew when you only played it safe and small your whole life. The little bit of taste of bitter Mew received from Top he could not handle it and harmed himself but also judged others along the way. Top is a manipulator I don't like how he teamed up with Mew parents to get his way. Sand is amazing character too! and Boston geez

Two: the three kisses were so different, and the actors did an amazing job portraying that.
The first kiss is longing, confusion and memory jerker.
The second kiss is actual kiss, attraction, pure love.
The third kiss is aggressive, lusty and a point setting kiss.
Even without the dialogue, one would understand the emotions behind each kiss!

I did not breath one second for the entire first scene.... That was intense and I loved it so much! Very questionable of Ray to make Sand and Boeing kiss each other but what I like was when Ray and Boeing were kissing each other because it felt like they were fighting more than kissing. Ray handled the situation after the pool scene very well. He communicated what he thought and what he needed/wanted from Sand. And of course Sand showed up for Ray - the hero that he is lol I love them so much!
Nick and Boston are so wholesome. Also really liked it how Boston explained Nick why it wouldn't be a good idea to follow him. Boston is good in communicating what he can/will give to someone. There is no BS with him.
Top and Mew are cute even though I would never move in that fast with my significant other lol
It's interesting how Ray and Boston are literally two people with such a good articulation of what they want to say. But still there are always situations when the other part doesn't hear them, or don't want to believe them, or something else.

I feel like both Neo and Mark improvised most of the things happening between them in the whole scene, like this kiss 17:52 and their reactions with smiles on their faces 17:55 like their acting is so natural that it doesn’t feel like acting. This is one of those pairs that fit so perfectly together, one really brings out the best in the other. They should seriously star as main leads in their own series. It will be a hit. They became my favorite couple and I love how Boston is not planning far ahead as he wants to live the moment and that’s a food mentality, Nick can know expect real things and not deceive himself. They told that story in the opening scene better with just kisses than I've seen people tell a lot of stories in most other mediums. This is the epitome of show don't tell. The relationships between each of the three are so clear. The tentative and uncertain tenderness of Sand and Boeing, the depth and certainty of Sand and Ray, the pure passion of Ray and Boeing. Absolute masterpiece.
I loved that Ray was the one who was certain of what he wanted and how he was clear with Sand that all he needs is to know what he's thinking, no expectations that he would choose him. A bit sad but understanding that Sand couldn't outright choose Ray but you know, he had a lot to think through.

I can’t believe it’s been 12 weeks already. No matter how much the series tested my patience, I could sympathise with the characters and I felt like this show was one way to end the week (if not always on a great note). Only friends is safe to say one of the only shows for which I eagerly waited for the entire week and has never disappointed me. Definitely one of the best shows for me (my current favourite show from week one). First, Khaotung, Force, Book, Neo and Mark you did a phenomenal job as the leads and this would definitely prove to be a turning point for your careers ❤ amazing cast and crew! Thank you Gmmtv for giving them a chance for unlocking their truest potential.

I feel like they did Sand dirty but then, when I think of how sand has been the entire series, it sort of makes sense. Sand knows whats right and wrong but he is a doormat for people he feels deeply for. Ray was so toxic and yet, every time Ray wanted him, he didnt say no to him. And not to mention, it hasnt been that long. He hasnt been able to heal at all. Also hahhh Ray...why are you putting him on spot and hurting him. Why cant Ray be nice to him for more than a day. Poor sand.
That's exactly what's happening with Boeing, Sand isnt over him, and if Ray wasn't here, Sand would easily go back to Boeing.

What I find strange is not Ray suggesting all this but Sand doing it. First of all, Sand should have left with Ray when he came to see him, it made me feel as if Sand is still not as in love or certain about him and ray nor close with Ray as much as Ray is dependent on him. Ray is madly in love yet, Sand still doesnt seem to think of them as a couple, he doesnt seem to have yet absorb that.

I love Ray here, especially when he said, “If you’re choosing him, kindly let me know. But if you’re choosing me, deal with him and get it over with. Or I’ll do it myself” 6:09 everything was okay when Sand was kissing both, but when he saw his current boyfriend and ex kissing one another, he fiercely reacted, not liking the situation that he saw okay at first when he was the one participating, how fck up is that? He let his ex kiss him, entertained him and then he acts as if he’s disgusted, not liking how things turned out, but he was the one letting this happen. I can understand he hasn’t closed this chapter with Boeing, as the man cheated on him and the relationship ended, but he has another boyfriend, not a roommate like he mentioned, and I don’t know if he’s too naive, too good or a pushover, but he must know that this is not easy for Ray and I love how Ray was real, he does love Mew and he’s damn sure he wants Mew in his life as a friend, the one who needs to come to terms with his feelings is Sand as Ray is sure of what he wants. Sand disappointed me to be honest 😔

It really broke my heart when Ray said that he brought Boeing for Sand and that he could tell when they kissed, he was 2nd. I freaking LOVED Ray's character development in this series. None of them have a great track record tbh. I thought Ray yelling and crying was intense, but super calm and clear Ray is just as intense. I laughed really hard when Mew said that if Top cheats on him again, Ray can run him over with his car and Ray gave a slight nod. That was hilarious. I'm kind of hoping that Ray and Top team up to expose Boeing somehow, but I'm kind of hoping everyone stops with all the scheming.😕 I really don't like the feeling that Sand won't choose Ray, that maybe it's only because Boeing didn't choose Sand first that Sand will just be with Ray. I know Sand loves Ray, but can love really be with a second choice? I hope that isn't the case and Sand chooses Ray, not just because Boeing went to Top first. Ray igniting those old flames and then saying he would put them out was too good, he shouldn't have done that in the first place, but I can understand him. Lesson: Don't persuade your current boyfriend to kiss his ex...... 🙄 It showed how anxious Ray was, I can relate. Freaking love this series!!
Nick and Boston have been through so much. And then there’s Boston’s redemption arc and- it would literally be so perfect if at the end, after all their struggles and whatnot, if they got together.
I will never ever be able to forget how good this series is. After this nobody will ever be able to feel how amazing it felt making it to another Saturday just to watch Only friends. Literally the best feeling ever. THANK YOU!

I thought Sand is a sensible person but I was wrong. Never expected this from Sand. Until last episode he couldn’t live without Ray ,he was so in love with Ray and your ex comes in the scene and you kiss him. What is going on now he can’t tell whether he is in love with his ex or not. Sill has feeling for a person who dumped you. I am hating him for this.
On the other hand i liked Ray,he is clear about everything no drama needed. I think writers were confused about their feelings or definition of love while writing. Frankly speaking emotionally I am not able to connect with any of the couple.

WoW.. What an opening!! Ray's words of 3some finally was in action! I loved how honest he was here instead of creating a chaos he was ready to give sand sometime to deal with his feelings but at the same time was fierce that if he chooses him, he better get over boeing! It feels so good to see Nick and Ton being happy together...
