Great video mate! I reckon you would have a great dive at the bay near our usual rock ledge. I had a snorkel there two months ago and saw some +40cm Whiting and some legal Snapper. I wish I had a speargun with me at the time!
Hi Lee, you can in some places and not in others. I use DPI's FishSmart NSW app to ensure I abide by the rules. And yes, you have to be careful especially of the bull sharks. Cheers

Since when have we been able to spear un the eateries in NSW? Its always been illegal on the south coast
I was surprised too. Check out the Fisheries NSW app - FishSmart NSW. Shows you maps of where you can and cannot spearfish

Yeah right, I honestly thought there was a blanket ban on all spearing in estuaries.. I’ll have to check it out 🤙🏻
