Jose Mercedes I agree. Lucic, Thornton and Andrew Ference were all really fun to watch because if something like this happened while they are on the ice they were the first guys in ready to scrap.

i don't think Vegas has the depth to win 3 or 4 rounds. I wanna see if vegas' home record isn't as good in the playoffs (presumably the LA Kings or whoever wont drink and gamble all night before their games.) i also think Nashville's defense and top 2 lines along with Bonino will take them back to the cup. if Boston can stay healthy i honestly think they have the best mix of skill, size, speed, vet to young kid ratio along with a good coach and decent goalie. Toronto and Pitts don't have the defense and i don't think Tampa can beat Tornto / Boston then the penguins, flyers, etc. as a habs fan i feel bad for you. i hated Julien for 6-7 outta the 8ish years he was here. hes very overrated and cant inter grate young talent. he also takes way too long to change whats not working.
McQuaid didn't make enough of an effort to get back. He tried to sell it, but could easily have caught up to it before the goal line if he had wanted to. Of course, linesmen buy it more often than not.

It was the right call (even if the refs and linesmen are inconsistent as hell), but still a really lucky break that the puck's momentum just died like that. And without that, Toronto would've been shut out, so that's saying quite a lot.
If Kadri didn't like the elbow on Marner by Wingels, why not just drop the gloves and fight him after he gets up? You don't EVER hit a player like that when he's down.
refs were god awful this game. it gets lost in the glow of a 5-1 win, but really should be getting more attention because some of the stuff was inexcusable. rick nash getting clipped in the knee and high sticked at the same time with the ref standing right there, an icing against the bruins when the puck didn’t even cross the goal line, and schaller’s goal being waived off by a ridiculously bad whistle. if this was a close game the refs would be getting crucified right now
I love Kadri as a player but as a bruins fan I think hes way dirtier then Marchand. to me, Marchand acts like a WWF heel. Kadri is more a reckless player who loses his cool. Marchand has crossed the line before though. the series definitely shifted when he was suspended. I also think Pastrank is a top 10 forward in the NHL right now.

First Bruins goal had 2 players offside, but that's fine. After countless bullshit goalie intereferance calls against Toronto this season it's pretty clear the NHL just wants to make a point and prove to the 30 other whiney trams they're not bias. Even though that IS bias, but that's ok.
