Paul Bradley Sterman here. Thank you Jay and neuroscience friends for sharing my dad’s legacy and contributions to the world of neurofeedback and neuroscience. Your kind words are truly appreciated. Thank you as well for continuing his work ethics and discoveries and never forget to “show him the data” and “think outside the box”. I also get those qualities from him. ❤

Thank you for this moving tribute. I was first exposed to the work of both Barry and Jay at the inaugural Pacific Rim SNR conference in Brisbane in 1999 and remember being mesmerised by all I was hearing. Our field is definitely built on the shoulders of giants. RIP Barry.

I'm sad to hear Barry past away. I took a 4 day class with BSI back in 2014, and Barry was one of the instructors. He was really engaging, and I remember at one point telling him my analogy of sensor impedance matching as being like shooting water through the correct size hole, so the most water passes through a matching hole. He looked at me, gazed away for a while and said "Hey, that's a pretty good way to describe it". Deepest sympathy to all of you who knew him.
