My parents are of Ghanaian descent and so am I although I was born in Australia. Here on my channel, my goal is to give you a real glimpse into what it’s like to live in Ghana and other parts of Africa, from the food, to the culture, to the lifestyle and everything in between. Jasmine, I’m 68 y.o. and I in Texas and I have a Ghana 🇬🇭 visa. I wanted to come to Ghana for December but was informed by my travel agent that December is mostly for Ghanaians families returning home for Christmas and younger adults 👨🏾. She recommended I come in March.
Since I’ve followed you over 2 years, I value your opinion, what are your thoughts on this ??

December is one of the best times to explore Ghana. Lots of people from the diaspora visit as well as Ghanaians returning home. The only downside is its busier and lots of traffic but theres much to do.
However, its always fun here so if you are coming to do your own thing and do not really care about events then you can come at anytime xx

It is if you want to attend a bunch of events. Ghana is fun all year round but most events happen around Christmas and there are more visitors in the country.. i enjoyed paa 🥰🤗

Well I’m a mother now and I go to bed early if the kids will let me ! But thirdly I keep on hearing great things about +233. Would be a good date night with hubby. Hanging out/chilling (Limin' the Caribbean will say) with the same gender deosn't indicate anything in this God world. Growing up in Ghana as a boy we walked on the streets with hands on our friends shoulders with no negative thinking. The LORD willing, I will be in my retirement age sometime in 2024, return back home, and, may still be a bachelor. B'cos it is an individual choice but stays in the confines of mother nature. @@greatmolass1543 You are comparing apples to oranges. When we were growing up in Ghana boys usually played with other boys enjoying games such as 4 corners, alikoto and stuff. The girls on the other hand also played Ampe, skipping and stuff amongst themselves. But as adults it’s time we mingle with each other in order to sustain our family structure and keep our culture alive. But if young women are now super obsessed with social media clout instead of building meaningful relationships with the opposite gender then how do you think things will turn out in the future? I understand if someone is 🌈. In that case she needs to come out and let us know she only swings in one direction. She is sending the wrong message to young impressionable girls that it’s okay to be alone and always hang with other women and all that matters is to make money, dress up, look pretty and hang with the girls. Even her birthday ole girl spent it alone 😂. One would think such a special day will end with a romantic dinner with her man but chale it ended up in a resort alone 😢. Anyway to each his own.
