That dude knows what he’s saying. So cool to watch him work!
You can take his online course on EdX for free. Good tips in there.
That’s why he’s the prince!
He is right on the nose
This series is incredible and absolutely what it's like recording vocals in the studio. Love seeing how he coaches the singer to get different nuances from her performance.
As a vocalist, this is AMAZING to watch. Thank you so much for making this!
I'm a live stage vocalist who's just now learning how to sing in a booth and this is SO helpful! Very cool to watch the back and forth dynamic between producer and artist. Great job to the singer too!
I’ve read this before, but noticing how he’s complimenting everything, even though that scratch vocal was not great, he’s still full of compliments. 👍👍
watching a master at work. there is a ton one can learn from these mini series.
7:13 buddy was really feeling the vibe awesome production
We definitely want more videos like this on CZcams 🥴
BEAUTIFUL!
She’s an actual singer. Nice to see that these days.
This is amazing thank you so much
That was great!!
This is really helpful!

Cool song!
Man I love this type of videos man, why there are so few around youtube ? no wonder why or songs are trash.
Thanks for the insights, keep them coming!
The vid I've been waiting for.
Great to see how award winning producer works! Fantastic!
Yes! Its so rare to get this kind of behind the scenes. So helpful.
Great video izotope ✊
that is some good vocal recording.
2:22 that "mmm"
Lady reppin my country well. Couldn't be more proud
this song is dope as hell. tutorials usually have crap songs. i even heard the worst snoop verse on a dave p. tutorial lol ..not this one though, they threw the 'rihanna might try to buy it' track at us lol ..the girl has a great vibe too.
Wow
Prince Charles is amazing how he gets into the song physically as well as aurally
So important
Right on the nose, he is an expert
So cool to watch.
That song tho🔥🔥🔥 Prince Charles👏👏👏
maestro!!!! Prince Charles the III 🙌🏼
feeling cul .
The end was hah😂
yo that beat kinda hard tho
aight!!
Man that is one hell of a stressful session for the singer, jeez.
This why it’s better to produce your own stuff, I can’t have someone sitting there giving me directions
I feel the same way buuuut, I do think it helps sometimes... for vocalist, because we're not always on pitch. Like the girl singing. She's off key
O
The blonde dude surely had no sleep.
I'm sure I'd be the same.
Ha, when I heard Charles demo the falsetto at 4:00, I immediately thought, get Charles in the booth immediately as a double or a duet! Song would be so much better with his voice as a contrast.
Although I will admit, on the final takes, she did nail what he was going for. So, mission accomplished anyway! Great to hear the transformation after the coaching during the takes.
And where is izotope using in this song?
in the mixing part
Just a dime a dozen singer. Yeah, she sounds good and she sings on key and has a good range but she’s sounds like 1000 other singers and I wouldn’t even be able to pick her out in a line up. It’s like they wrote a generic pop song for the sake of writing a generic pop song
Why does she sing out of key?
