SAMOA-NEW ZEALAND BI-LATERAL TALKS, Apia Samoa- 01st August 2022.

Joint Press Conference by New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and Samoa’s Prime Minister Fiame Naomi Mataafa at the conclusion of bi-lateral talks in Apia, Samoa.
The talks also mark the opening of Samoas’ Border for international travel after more than 2 years due to the COVID19 pandemic.
It’s Jacinta’s fourth visit to Apia but her first since Samoa elected Prime Minister Fiame a year ago to become the first Woman Prime Minister of the first Pacific Island to gain independence in 1962.
