i adore the stylistic dissonance the characters have with each other, makes it feel like they're tresspassing in each other's worlds
for examplem, the difference in framerate is subtle but helps to further distinguish the two characters

I’ve been avoiding watching this because the Very Hungry Caterpillar’s inclusion seemed very awkward to me. But his first verse alone makes this one of my all-time favorite rap battles.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar is a book I grew up reading so seeing this rap battle where the caterpillar absolutely rocked the mic put a smile to my face. Also, nice touch on turning the caterpillar to a butterfly at the end.
6 months since this bop came to be and it is still as impeccable as the first time I listened to it. Incredible beat, insane lyrics, and burns that even the sun wishes it could pull off. Truly an amazing rap made by an amazing team.

This battle has a little bit of everything: great animation, catchy as hell, and especially a VERY unique character that I never expected would be in a rap battle. The British narrator intro/outro was just the icing on the cake 😃😃 good job to all involved
A ton of people actually requested Galactus VS The Caterpillar, which was shown to cause this to happen instead. So I definitely agree this battle is great, but the Caterpilar wasn’t as unexpected as everyone says he was.

I was very curious to see how you wrote this, since it's not like the Caterpillar has a backstory you can draw from for lines like with most characters. But you managed it!
This is epic singing! I noticed that there is the inclusion of many fun facts about Kirby that are not common knowledge, so I know that the lyrics were carefully decided. I also wasn't expecting so much of a spotlight on a character like the very hungry caterpillar, so that's much appreciated too.

this rap battle was definitely the last thing I expected to wake up to but holy shit it's so fun, glad to see Azia and Snakebite back in one of these videos I genuinely rlly enjoy just how much energy they put into their voice acting... I have a memory of Eric Karl being my elementary school spanish teacher's favorite author and I guess for good reason..
edit: forgot to mention this but god the animation for this battle is honestly adorable style-wise, I love it soooo much, so much creds to RobotRichie he killed it with this I can only imagine how long it must've taken to put this together

Thought I was gonna give it to Kirby for just how perfectly suiting yet still well-paced the voice and roasts were(and loved the Right Back at Ya references like jesus that nostalgia hits--).
*But then Caterpillar boi pulls out that god-tier stream at the **1:19** minute mark.*
_Then the narrator lines flow in abundantly well,kinda like the extra voices in Deadpool VS Boba Fett if I was to compare._

Can't believe a storybook caterpillar could tie it up against one of my longtime video game favorites and turned it effectively into a draw in my eyes,but at this rate I'm just unsurprised in the best way when it comes to Freshy just one-upping every chance he gets. xD
And that gosh darn animation,man--I have no idea how Kirby and Caterpillar boi synced so well in the artstyles,great stuff.
Not to mention how both of them manage to spit out references left and right without shoe-horning anything,might be one of my favorite battles on this channel and on any non-ERB rap battle channels for me imo.
