Lucky, I didn't waste any rare resources on any of the Sr gear or under and use the awaken stones and anvil only on ssr gear and have been saving my hammer. I have no clue you can reroll the sub stat in such an easy way and could also save my anvil that way until I saw ur video. Kinda make me want to cry when I think back how much anvil I had spent before lol.
I don't think gear positioning makes any sense. It would make sense in the early days when full SSR set was deemed for the hardcore and whales. That time, regular players are advised to put SSRs on the Right side(of characters) and Common items on the left side. 2 def and 4 attack set at random positions will have the same total def as a 2 def set specifically put at the mid row positions. (lets say everything is maxed rolled)
I was thinking the same I have ur gear set at different spots 4/2 and I don't see a difference if I were to change it. I was about to make new sets and waste engraving stones lol thanks for this!
Its mainly so f2p players can save anvils by using less of them on the pieces u might change (the defense pieces) Its only really important if u make another set for the character but obv its not too important
Ok so am I missing/miss understanding something? The only reason that gear position matters is that so you can focus on the 4 set gears and have it interchangeable between hp/attack/crit rate and the 2 set gear interchangeable between defense/ crit dmg/ lifesteal. If that is the case then it makes non sense to have ban’s 2 set at the top or melascula’s 2 set at the bottom since you get the exact same stats and you could just use a default 4 set health from other characters you have(maybe that are already engraved as wrll) and just use the middle slots for the crit/lifesteal gear like you do with other units…
@@AmazingGrandCross yes but why have them at the top/bottom when they could’ve stayed in the middle, you would’ve still gotten the set bonus and you could’ve used an interchangeable 4 set hp at the top and bottom? Does the set bonus apply only on the gear within that set and not the whole character?
@@AmazingGrandCross like my point is you can get any max sub-stat regardless of the type of set you’re getting it on, for exemple you can keep the crit damage set in the middle row and still roll the defense substats on it, still have defense main stat because you’re forced to regardless and still get the set bonus, it’s basically the same thing, all the bonuses apply to the character and you keep efficiency you’d just roll for crit on the top HP set pieces and still get the same amount of crit sub stats and the same amount of set bonus
if u built a ban set for damage it would be hp crit dmg so the top 2 pieces could have crit chance rolls, if u swap them to defence u could give them attack rolls for cc

I'm surprised you didn't show them that they can also reroll the main gear stats. As a player who started month 1 I didn't realize until much later on after being frustrated with my CC being so low and finally resorting to online guides.

One question you know that when you make UR gear the bonus it gives varies depending on the basic stat of the piece. So the question here is if I change the basic stat with anvils after making the piece UR does it affect the UR bonus too?

I recently switched to using "recommended gear" and I guess more is also wrong lol, just for Purgatory Ban it drops six defense 😳. I would have thought HP/Def, personally so crit/crit is a surprise. Is there a reason you don't do Attack/Defense for those with low crit chance? Also, on Dark Meli I have +8.5% crit chance to get 101% on his attack gear; is it better to switch that to attack? Interesting trick, that filter for changing stats too, I never noticed that (I go one at a time and it can eat a LOT of anvils). Side note: I've had hammers lower stats, quite annoying.
Late reply but Dark Meli has free 30% in all stats buff(6% perstack), that means your crit will be over 100% in 1-2 attack already so go for attack % for max damage possible
What gear should i put on link units, all health gear sets with defense or attack with defense? Or it depends if the unit its being linked to is tank or dps?

It allows f2p players to save anvils by focusing them on the hp and attack pieces over the defense pieces. Defense as a stat in gc gives the least amount of cc so u can put less into it and forcus on the other pieces but if u have a completely maxed out set it wont change the amount based on the placement its mainly for players who havent perfected the gear
I'm just trying to get 8mill box like you. On units I don't use, strictly BOX CC, I think I'm going left side SSR 5*, right side Rare 5* HP/DEF. Been sitting at 7.25m for awhile in box CC
Question: if most of my UR are not geared this way, that's gonna be expensive and long to fix; how much difference does it make to have parts of 4 sets on defense?
I came to the comments looking to see if anyone commented about this. I was pretty sure this is not the case, the only reason was to make swapping gear easier. I checked my similar stat gear that is mixed up and all stats seem the exact same, not sure about CC but I can't see how that would change so I don't know.

You make it sound like you get less or more stats if you put different pieces in different spots, which is VERY confusing for new players. You made me look at gearing entirely different for no reason at all. Which cost me a lot of time and resources while trying to reconfigure my gearing setup and upgrade new pieces. Your wording is throwing off a lot of new players. The only reason you would want to put them in the middle is to make swapping gear, that is not UR, EASIER. It doesn't improve stats as a whole when everything is maxed. You might want to make that more prevalent in your video, or put a disclaimer on it, cause DAMN.
It is important because it saves you on anvils in that if ur middle pieces are defense for example then u would go for less defense percent because it gives less cc Also im not telling u to delete all ur sets that dont match what i say im just trying to help explain that positioning can help save u anvils in the long run by using them on the top and bottom pieces of gear. Hopefully that clarifies im sorry if i couldnt help!

it makes sense for melascula and ban because they dont want just the standard base percents they need lifesteal or crit chance/crit damage
