Memphis Zoo's glorification of panda MISTREATMENT

  • This is our reply to Memphis Zoo's press conference where they try to associate YaYa's sickness look to genetics. (www.kait8.com/2021/08/23/they...)
In this video, we will show you their lies and solid proof that YaYa isn't "genetically special" that results in her illness look; but the ongoing and continued mistreatments from the zoo. She is not "naturally" small and her coat is not "naturally bad" but a skin disease.

I was there today, and I'm not even sure if its the same panda I saw. The poor thing was laid out on its back with no other creature in sight, surrounded by uneaten bamboo shoots and several days worth of feces. He/she was skinny and its butthole skin was dragged out and hanging off like in the video. IDK what the fuck that's all about, but I digress. There was a very apprehensive looking worker back there splitting up bamboo for the passed out panda, he looked scared that people were even observing him in the exhibit, lest he gets painted as responsible for the state of the panda. People aren't even coming to see this panda, please let it go free or something. Most of the population are there to twerk at the monkey exhibit and play in the water that isn't supposed to be played in, imagine that being the last thing you see as an animal dying in captivity.

Not providing edible bamboo even if the pandas bang their head and beg for them. Embezzle all the donations of bamboo money. Electrifying pandas to get sperms. The living condition is hellhole and both pandas suffered from long time starvation and multiple skin diseases. Draw blood with big needles often enough that the panda shows the shoulder for blood drawing whenever prompted as a reflex. Such atrocity is performed on a daily basis yet this zoo keeper has the audacity to just say it out loud w/o a shame. That zoo keeper is a demon walking in bright daylight. For the people who don't understand, not old pandas are supposed to be like this. Check the cam of Chengdu Panda center. Or anywhere else hosting pandas. Also monitoring weight doesn't mean anything. This panda name is YY. Most of the China people call it YaYa because this panda was born in China. He was sent to America when he was 3-4 four years old with another panda named 乐乐(LeLe) which was born in China also. They were both sent to America. The zoo treated the panda badly and keep giving them unhealthy and bad bamboo. Not only that the zoo keeper also put the two panda in all small space that they can’t walk that much. 2023.March.1 乐乐(LeLe) has died. He can’t make it back to his own country. Do the bears have trees to climb & grass to enjoy in a yard? How much room to they live in? Some enrichment to living might improve health & wellbeing. Food is not the only element necessary. Iam thinking environment is also necessary to happiness & pandas deserve the best.

Here is the full story about yaya and lele
So, America have wanted a panda for quite a while and finally at 2003 they got YaYa and LeLe, Yaya and Lele was very healthy and chubby at the first few year at memphis zoo. Then yaya got pregnant at 2007 january, memphis zoo was very happy and excited and treated yaya pretty good. But then they found out Yaya miscarried her baby, and because of that america needs to pay a lot of money, and I think they weren’t happy about that and they started treating Yaya and Lele unfairly. We all know panda's likes to eat bamboo’s and fruits right? Memphis zoo do give them bamboos but they are not fresh at all! they sold all the fresh bamboo to canada and Yaya and Lele only have dried and thin bamboo! they actually weren’t even edible! An average panda eats up to 26-84 pounds of bamboo per day, but memphis zoo only give about 24 pounds of bad, thin bamboo for both Yaya and Lele. That caused Yaya and Lele being skinny and having health issues, panda is not suppose to look like that! Other pandas gets treats like apples and grapes but Yaya and Lele only get about 2-4 piece of grape a week or month, they have never had 1 single bite of an apple. Because of that some zoo keepers also mistreat them, they never play with them, or hug them! If you see the Memphis zoo live camera some zoo keepers even kick Yaya and Lele now and before. Some of us know Yaya and Lele have an outside yard but I have never seen them out there! Do you want to know why? because Yaya and Lele is locked in that small room and is only let out twice! And that caused Yaya and Lele to have mental problems and stress problems and is known to be called Zoochosis, they bang their head up and down for hours, walk in circles continuously, that is not how a normal panda should behave! Yaya and Lele apear lonely, skinny, stressed, and dirty. Yaya and Lele have SO many sicknesses and diseases and Infection we could lost count! Some people might say how do zookeepers mistreat them? Well, there is a real time where is halloween and the memphis zoo is suppose to give each animal a pumpkin as an reward, they gave all the animals a slice of pumpkin, but guess what? They did not give Yaya and Lele one, Yaya and Lele had to watch other animals eating that delicious slice of pumpkin..., if you all check the panda at Japan, treated SO well, they even collected XiangXiangs poop. And also russia, we know russia is not in a good place right now but we can't deny that they treat our panda well, Yuan Run was 200 pound when he was sent to russia, but now he is 240 pounds, we all know a panda should weigh about 120-250 pounds, but yaya and lele only weighs about 80 pounds. Also the Korean panda Fubao, the zookeeper treated Fubao as his own grandson, just about 2 years he made over 60 toys for fubao, and even taught him chinese because he was scared fubao dont know chinese. And the rest of the pandas is living their best lives out there. We also should not for get the other American Panda Meixiang, i dont know much about MeiXiang but I know she is mistreated, and she don't even get bamboos sometimes, they feed her ice. Yes i know, Ice. MeiXiang even had to eat ice at winter.
Now Lele is gone...China have the right to get Leles body back, it is the law to get Lele back, but instead of returning Lele, they turned Lele into a taxidermist and is put into a museum...
OUTRAGED THAT MEMPHIS ZOO STILL WANTS 2 MORE HEALTHIER AND YOUNGER PANDAS, HUH, AFTER WHAT YOU DID TO LELE AND YAYA, YOU WISH YOU CAN!
Thankyou for taking your time reading this, I teared up even writing this knowing how Yaya and Lele and Meixiang is treated...
But Yaya is going to come back hopefully next month! We will be so happy! Welcome come Yaya and Lele! Thankyou so much for the supports! Investors is already helping yaya so no need to worry! Who else is excited seeing yaya trying apples and grapes and fresh thick bamboos for the first time after these much years! 😢😊

I cried so hard seeing how bad shape YaYa and LeLe turned out under the Americans' care. At this age, their teeth is not that tough, how could those idiots give them hard bamboos. What nutrition in it and how could they digest. Looked at YaYa's teeth, she probably in pain chewing on the hard bamboos. They should be feed with fresh bamboo shoots, bamboo leaves, fruits and vegetable. They need sun light and bath and clean. Look at the disease on YaYa's skin, we can tell the staffs never gave her a bath. We looked at the pandas in Russia and Korea zoos, they have play ground to run, climb, bath, and healthy nutrition to keep them healthy. Le Le die in Memphis zoo and now we don't know YaYa can make it home to China. The American zoo abused and neglected the pandas. China should not send them here anymore. Recently Le Le Died and yet no one responsible for their suffering in America for 20 years. The zoo lied about their situation. Just compare them with those in other countries. We can tell. There are more in Washington zoo too. She gave birth and locked up in a small cage, which she can't move around. Her baby cried for milk, but she didn't have enough milk for her baby. Why, the zoo staff does not feed her with anything nutrition or not enough.

I want to get Yaya Lele back to China as soon as possible, but I don't have the right way to appeal, so if possible, I want them to be fed first.
I wonder if you still have the opportunity to go to the Memphis Zoo? If I ask you to bring food to Yaya or Lele occasionally by way of personal donation, do you think it is okay?
Pandas need a lot of food every day, but in addition to bamboo, they can also eat pumpkin, apples, carrots, etc. What they need is a large basket of fruits and vegetables a day, instead of feeding a small amount for a few days like the Memphis Zoo.
If you think you can, please reply, thank you very much!!
