- So it's been 1 month since I started using As I Am Rosemary Natural Hair Care Line.... And it's time to update you guys, by answering ALL the questions. Does it actually work? Is this a good line for hair growth? Which product do I recommend? You know all the important questions one should ask before investing in any new products.

I just purchased the Rosemary Water from Walmart. I'm hoping I see some growth around my edges and crown.

Whats the difference between the rosemary water and the jamacain black castor oil one. And which is best for dry hair?
I would say Jamaican black castor oil/water because rosemary water dries out your hair if you use it like everyday.
The difference is definitely in the ingredients although both are formulated to strengthen and moisturize the hair. The Rosemary Oil Water is very specific in assisting with hair growth. The ingredients such as the Rosemary Oil and Melatonin are very specific for encouraging hair growth. Since both waters are formulated with glycerin they help to retain moisture. I've been using the Rosemary Oil water since Nov 2023 and the amount of hair growth along with managablity I now have is very impressive.
Use a medicated braid spray will make your hair grow

Is the rosemary shampoo, conditioner, water spray combo better than the rice combo for hair growth?
Good question! I am using thier rice water line and want to switch to the rosemary. I am already using the rosemary mousse.
I would say I’ve experienced some impressive growth in a short period of time with consistent use and protective styling while using the Rosemary line, the Rice Combo not as much and definitely not as quick.
@ThatsSoLetitia awesome I am switching ASAP! Do you use the rosemary mousse by itself or do you use a leave-in conditioner first and then apply the mousse. I have 3A 3B hair so I wasn't sure if I needed to add a leave-in conditioner.
@cryswashington ooh good question! So I have a mixture of 4a-4b hair so my hair I’m sure may require more products to keep it together, I use a leave in conditioner prior to the mousse, which I use last. I’ve never used it alone so I’m not sure if it would make your hair hard if used alone but with the leave-in it does help with styling while allowing my hair to remain soft.
@ThatsSoLetitia ok. Awesome. I have been using it alone in my hair with a gel it's good for one day and then dry the next. ( sure if I am putting enough product). So I have to reapply daily. Before I switched to the mousse I was using a leave-in conditioner with Miss Jessie pillow soft curls. I will try it with a leave-in. conditioner.
I bought the shampoo, conditioner, oil, and spray to use on my locs. I just hope it doesn't cause build-up. I also love the smell.
How are you liking the line so far?

What is your recommendation for using the oil, spray and the mousse if you have 4c hair but wear your hair straight? After a wash, I usually blow dry and flat iron.
I would definitely suggest using the spray as a leave in conditioner after you’ve washed your hair, and the oil after you’ve straightened it, on both your scalp as a growth aid and on your hair for softness and shine. As for the mousse, that is a tough one, unless you maybe do stretched braid outs or twist outs, because the mousse is definitely going to revert your hair back to its natural texture if you use it on straightened hair.

How often do you think you can use the condtitioner? Do you think i can use it multiple times a week?
I have used it multiple times a week with great results. It hasn’t been harsh nor drying on my hair. I would say at least 2-3 times a week is fine depending on how often you wash your hair, you can even use it as a co-wash in between regular shampoos.

Has there been any regrowth, especially your edges?
Hi there! I have definitely seen some new growth at a very impressive rate since using this line on a daily basis. My edges, I will say has seen a tad bit of growth. I’m hopeful that they will fill in more as time goes on. And less manipulation is done to my hair.
Where can I find this line in stores?
It’s currently sold at Target, Walmart, Amazon as well as the official company’s website. I would also look into your local beauty supply stores as well. Hope this helps ☺️
I stop wearing braids it's like the 3rd time growing my edges back😔
I understand, my edges are not too happy with me from all the braids. Currently allowing my hair to rest for a while before rebraiding my hair. Thankfully this line is helping my hair grow back in pretty quickly.

I actually am! Even my braider who I see every 3 months commented on how quickly my hair seems to be growing out lately.
