I say this as a diehard Misfits fan - Doyle's sound is hardly a nuanced tone is it? Just turn everything to 'bonkers'. I recon a RAT could achieve this with the right guitar.

Nah i have a rat pedal, doesnt quite sound the same. The rat has more of scratchy tone than a fuzzy tone

Its funny that it has jumped up just because of the looks and name of the pedal, because they literally used a Electro Harmonix Big Muff, and you can get those for $99, just sayin.

This sounds super cool and even though it has a big band slapped onto it I feel like it could be used for so many things. Weirdly reminds me more of later misfits songs like graves era lol.

3 Fav Misfits songs: Hybrid Moments, Bullet, Horror Business. I have read that this pedal is a jazzed up version of a big muff which Franche Coma used for the Static Age sessions. While I'd love to have it in my possession, I have a muff clone that works for that sound (also the fuzz one on the Behringer SF 300 is a close sub for that Static Age Sound)

Sounds like a DS-2 running into a slightly driven amp.
When you had the attitude down at the beginning like 1:11. Seems like that may also gate a bit as contrasted with the end with it adding signal static. There was def some compression or gating on that nob just from the volume of your attack.

The pedal is supposed to mimic the preamp of the amp used to record the static age album the attitude knob is supposed to be replicate the fuzz pedal before the preamp... also something that wasn't mentioned is that the treble and bass knows are +- with 12 o'clock being 0
What amp and pedal would they have used on static age?
