I was so exited for this fight when it got announced I figured it was gonna be great with Ryan having a new coach and learning more fundamental style boxing and Haney being the technician he is but soon as Ryan started posting crazy shit acting wild I knew I wasn’t gonna pay for it.
Honestly, I dont know what will be the outcome of this fight. But I agree on what Joel Diaz said that by respecting this sport you should comply on the necessary requirements needed like making weight. Your goal is not just to beat your opponent but also become a World Champion. This fight should never be taken for granted, Haney as the defending champion is no easy fighter.
I don't know how anyone can be surprised at all. Sure he can land a shot and DH doesn't have Tank Davis power but still yet, I don't see him winning this match. Even IF he wins, he still loses because for one no belt and two he didn't make weight. People says it's just 3 lbs well yea but those are 3 lbs he didnt drain himself for while DH did, it matters.

Garcia knows that he’ll never win a decision against an elite boxer like Haney. He has to knockout Haney early, within the first five rounds. He’s going to attack Haney aggressively from the first bell, and eat some punches in order to close the gap and land his power punches. He tried this in round two against Tank, but got caught with a counterpunch for a flash knockdown. He doesn’t fear Haney, who hasn’t had a knockout in his last eight fights. Mark my words: Garcia by knockout early in the fight.
No big deal that Ryan didn't make weight by 3lbs, people forget how dehydrated Ryan was when he fought Gervonta Davis, many fighters move up in weight when they have to starve themselves to make weight, their body grows out of former weight classes.
