Fantastic dumpers I hire them quite often definitely on the purchase list in years to come. Great video. 👍🏻

They are really handy but I find I always need a different size for each project I do and with them being so cheap to hire, its not really worth owning one when you consider the cost of insuring it, servicing, storage etc unless its out all the time. I've been looking at getting a 2t swivel dumper as it would fit on my trailer and has a decent load capacity. Its also the same width as my 8026 so would suit it well, but they don't come up very often and are surprisingly expensive to buy new for what you can charge them out at!

Nice little dumper. We don't see dumpers like this in Canada much.
It looks wider than 48 inches.
I am talking to a survey supplier that is just starting to deal with the IDIG system. I used to work with the owner at a engineering company.
Are you still impressed with the system?

For some reason in the UK we pretty much always have a dumper on a job, whereas in the US and Canada, they are a very rare thing. You guys seem to use skid steers as dirt carriers which isnt as efficient at dirt moving but is a much more useful tool to have on site as it can do so much more than dump and can load itself. A dumper is pretty useless really but thats how we work over here.
The Idig is brilliant, I really cant recommend it enough. Easy to use and saves you money every time you use it in labour saving alone, not including the time saved digging on grade first time and the material saved from not over digging in places. You wont regret it if you go for it.

What’s the benefit of this over a skid steer loader ?
You need a machine to load it .

You are right, and I agree with you but in the UK these dumpers are very popular and skid steers are quite rare. There are a couple of advantages I guess, I don't think they tear up the ground so much, have more capacity per cycle and they are cheaper to buy. But a skid loader with forks and other attachments is much more versatile for sure. Its just how we seem to work over here.
