- This is very much an impromptu video, but I got curious what I would get after seeing a video of another CZcamsr who "admitted" that he already has very much if not most of the premium ships and that his drop rate might not be realistic. In the end, I share my thoughts about gift containers in general and if I got my money's worth from the containers.

my cousin said "i hope to get mushashi from the containers" i told them i hope you are willing to throw your wallet at the containers "why?" because most likely you'll have to exhaust the list of tier 5 6 and 7 premiums before you have any chance at mushashi cause there are far more teir 5 6 and 7 in the ship list then there are teir 8 9 and 10 ships

simply said, if you dont wanna clear all the ships in the container just dont go for it, the more you buy the more its worth it. at the start u only get t5-7, all the good ships will drop at the very end
and if you want to clear all the ships, buy all ships in the premium shop that cost less than 5300 doubloons directly, it cost less than just opening containers to get them
Yesterday from 16 containers I got at 9th a Malta tier 10 cv then 180 days premium and then 2500 gold. And a week ago from 8 containers I got tier 7 Yudaky dd, tier 7 Munchen cruiser and tier 9 Jager dd. and 5000 gold, that were my first 8 mega containers. I got also a Graf Zeplinn tier 8 cv from one other container from certificates. I have 4280 battles and a win ratio of 49% only and only 70 ships in my collection.

260 boxes in, I already had 80~ premiums. Only rare ship I didn’t get was musashi, smaland and thunderer
Congratulations! But you do realize that everyone who reports a better than average drop rate actually proves my point that this is gambling, right?
For this drop rate, WG would have to sell roughly 1000 or more boxes with "worthless" ships according to their published drop rate.
@@RustyITNerd it is gambling, first 150 boxes filled all the t5-t7 ships and with a few lucky drops in between ( enterprise, fujin, kamimaze,) and after all those shit you can get, you start getting a lot of rare and t8 ships. The highest chance of getting a rare or t10 ship is when you get no ships in 15 boxes, the guaranteed ship seems to have a 80% chance of getting t10 or rare ships. ( 4 out of 5 guaranteed drops)
@@ManBoll-tc1px Question is, do we want that for our kids? Personally, I don't have an issue with gambling itself, but using it in an environment kids and teenagers have free access to - I do have an issue with that. 😉

First of all, the Lazo is a Russian cruiser. Second of all the drop rate varies. We did some statistics in our clan and we average on 21.5 Ships per 100 Containers. I‘ve bought 120 of them and got 33 out of it, even some rear ones (Smaland, Musashi, Colossus and Thunderer) and I only had a hand full of premiums prior. The most lucky one from my clan managed to get the Smolensk, Thunderer, Smaland and 180 days of premium with only 4 Containers which he got from the certificates.
Finally someone found the mistake and posted it. 😆 I didn't realize it until the video was up and I was already focussed on real-life work.
Your clan test actually proves my point of gambling. When your clan averages at 21.5%, then my 19% are below that, but bot values are above the statistical 16% drop rate WG published. Of course, there is a spread and you never get exactly 16%, especially when dealing with small numbers. But just imagine how many containers were purchased in your clan with an above average drop rate to imagine how many containers must have been sold to compensate and deliver the (published) 16%. Yes, you might argue that the published figures don't necessarily need to match reality, but then WG would be in a totally different world of trouble from a regulatory point of view 😉- and with all gambling: the house never loses.
I don’t think many teenagers play this game. It’s a pretty mature player base I think. It’s one of the things I like about it.
I know this is not representative, but at least in my circle of friends and acquaintances there are a couple of them. With young streamers and content creators joining the CC program, the target audience should be obvious. My (one!) WoWS video has 7% viewers below the age of 18. It doesn't count much, but it is an indicator.
In other words, yes you are partially right as a large portion of the player base has aged with the game (so to speak). But WG also needs to aquire new players and they are fishing in the teenage pond. Additionally, if WoWS was a game for adults including gambling which would be and is an option for WG, then there would be some regulations to follow on the European side of the pond - open access is not one of them.
ROFL, we can't even buy them over here because of a no-gambling-law. A good thing sometimes but your mileage may vary. But I am damned sure that the high profile streamers have better drop rates.

i wish they'd give you a ship selector after opening x number of containers... spending hundreds of euros just to get JUNK is kinda disheartening. there's only a bunch of ships worth getting, everything else is trash

Wg christmas containers a complete trash event from 19 big ones i take a tier 6 cv ark royal and a tier 7 munchen the other droops was terrible.From 10 mediums i got a tier 9 carnot rest droops also terrible and i open more than 25 small ones and i got a collinwood tier 7.Also from previus events i open 6 premium black friday containers 0 ships and from the event with the supercontainers i open 79 and i got 1 tier 6 bb Dunqurque.i am completely dissapointed from that company and i wont give them again even 1 euro.
To be fair to WG, you knew that this is gambling. You gambled and you lost. Now you are mad at WG, because you gambled...

@@Foysekas_The_Dudge. I didn't say that and you know it! I just say, that WG is offering gambling without any restriction to minors. If you are and adult, you knew about the (low) chances and gambled anyway. There is no fair or unfair or right or wrong. As an adult you made a decision and now you have to live with the consequences. It's the same with playing the lottery, Everyone CAN win, but not everyone does in fact.
If you are a minor, which I don't think you are, then you would have a point in having unrestricted access to gambling.
