#RichEisenShow #BetterCallSaul #BreakingBad - Zábava
I can't think of the last TV show I've been this hype about coming back from two years
It's bigger than Dallas 'Who Killed J.R' back in the 80's
Me too . I’m really excited to see the Lalo story.
I would say Dexter but they fucked it up... again.
This and Barry. So hyped for Season 3
Stranger things after 4 years: hold my beer
Seeing how Gus came to be would be awesome. Maybe a season or two.
That's already shown in BB.
@@mocoloni ? santiago ?
I feel like if they actually decided to do this it would be a movie instead of a TV show, but hey I'd be down.
@@mocoloni they could show how he went from losing his partner to the Mastermind who works with the Salamancas in Better Call Saul/ Breaking Bad
@@multifantv1245 and they can also show his life in Chile, such as his childhood with the Coate
Giancarlo should have gotten way more awards and accolades. He is beyond fantastic in this roll.
He and Michael McKean got absolutely robbed.
if he was white he would have hella awards what he did for breaking bad was amazing probably would never be done again
Don't pass up anything he is in.
Role
his acting is great, but his spanish is pretty bad. For english speakers its easy to miss, but for latin ppl it hurts the ear.
Breaking Bad is incredible, but I love Better Call Saul even more.
I thought I was the only one. The pacing and traction feel far better in this one and even then Breaking Bad is still great how it is.
@@VonJay I see this opinion a lot actually. I have a hard time deciding myself, but Better Call Saul is definitely more special to me because I'm watching it as it happens. Plus I am a huge Bob Odenkirk fan
You can really feel the growth of the creators. Breaking bad itself got better over time.
Better call Saul must have been harder to write as you have the constraints of history but that team is just so talented
I think Breaking Bad starts way better but Better Call Saul is moving along nicely 🔥 if it can have an amazing Season 6 I think it can top BB. But BB is the forever classic!
Nacho and Kim and that creepy baseball card guy and Lalo and Jimmy's brother Chuck and Todd make it a better show than Breaking bad in my opinion
Gus Fring really does a fantastic job portraying Giancarlo Espisito
A Gus spinoff is absolutely acceptable. . .
I'd love to find out what happened in Santiago.
How many spinoffs till the show just gets beaten to the ground? Not every single things needs to be explained.
Unfortunately Giancarlo is just too old now.
@@cmcproductions26 lol, no he's not. He's only 62.
@@th3azscorpio I mean for them to do a prequel. He already looked quite a bit older in Better Call Saul than he did in Breaking Bad. Them doing ANOTHER prequel, set before the events of Better Call Saul, would be hard because he LOOKS older now.
Giancarlo is one of the greatest American actors in the world. I seriously cannot say enough good things about him. He rocks!
Well except for the fact he was born in Denmark
@@holeefuk413 yes but he’s an american citizen and grew up in the US from the time he was six
I thought he had a chilean accent until I heard him in an interview and then realized he was in Do The Right Thing
I was skeptical at first when I heard there would be a prequel to Breaking Bad because such shows rarely live up to the hype. But Better Call Saul did just that. It's such a good show.
Damn I remember his character "Buggin' Out" in "Do The Right Thing" EXCELLENT ACTOR!
As much as I love Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, he'll always be "Big Brother Almighty" to me 🤣
Loved this show. They need a Lalo spinoff. Never thought I'd see a character i liked more than Mike.
Totally agree. Lalo is crazy
Lalo is terribe
Lalo’s spinoff is a great idea. That character is fun and same time scary.
lalo is probably not going to make it. Great character tho
@@virgil292 remember when walt was hanging saul over a cliff, he asks id lalo sent him.
A Gus spinoff would be amazing, but I really hope they give us more of the Salamancas, and a sort of rise of the Salamancas as well.
Gustavo Fring is my favorite character in the breaking bad universe however, I do not want a spin off or prequel about him. He is so mysterious and I think they should keep it that way
I’d love to see a Gus story from beginning all the way to his last day at the convalescent home 💥
I love the way Fring always switches from the polite smiley restaurant owner, to serious scowl of Gus Fring the ruthless Drug Distribution Lord at the drop of a dime....
Gus is my favorite BB/BCS character and I would love to see how he came to be. Vince is such an incredible writer and I know he wouldn’t let the fans down telling his story
if this man have directed an episode in this season, it's gonna be legendary
He has actually directed 2 episodes in Season 6
@@rickycarter536 Uh.... No? He directed only one, the episode 6, "Axe and Grind"
He's dropping so many hints and I'd die for a Gus spin off!!
That would be a dark spin off compared to both the shows. It's like watching Narcos with a terrifying character as the lead.
@@Khader1093 , sounds fascinating! There’s so much to explore with his character and Giancarlo is a phenomenal actor.
@@brandih9802 fr and if it weren't for these phenomenal writers I'd probably say not to do it, but I feel they would absolutely crush a spinoff show with gus and make it as equally as good as bb and bcs
As Gus is a calm and calculated psychopath it would be more of a psychological thriller....mashed into a crime and dark backdrop of Chilean history i am excited but yes it will be very dark comparing to bcs and BB and the possibility of humour is very low
Just beating breaking bad into the ground
I'm guessing that he's hinting that there will be an "El Camino"-style movie, mainly featuring Gus, that will bridge the time span between the end of BCS and the beginning of BB.
very good guess!
I loved this interview! So many hints dropped🔥😤
Great videos bud!
Giancarlo "I can do this". Well sir there are few who "do it" as well as you. Thank you for you dedication to entertaining you fans for so long.
Jacques Marie mage sunglasses are perfect for Giancarlo looking great. Terrific actor and character in both series.
Totally need a full back story for Gus Fring! Giancarlo is so good at this ❤️❤️
Glad he landeed such an iconic role. He's a talented and memorable actor and deserves it.
Give us the Gus prequel! I cant get enough of this world they've created. It's brilliant. These writers are something else and they casted the perfect actors to tell the story. Bravo all around!
It should be a movie.
We need a Gus spin off now rich .
Giancarlo Esposito is our generation Anthony Hopkins.
An actor of exquisite talent who is capable of incredible detail and precision in his acting.
Such a great actor
His range as an actor is top tier!
kinda feels like Rich and Giancarlo have the exact same energy. cool to see them in a room together
Gus fring should play Mr. freeze in the next Batman movie 👀
haha, that would rock
@@elliotjames5172 that would mineral
That would be a bit weird since he already played two-face ;)
@@TortssMacKenzie Hahaha. Your comment is amazing. 👏 Bravo..
I think he's telling us he directed an episode
As much as I love Giancarlo's portrayal of Gus Fring, I'll always remember him from a quirky little movie where I first saw him years ago called "Blue In The Face," with Harvey Keitel. Not a cinematic masterpiece, but a very enjoyable time-killer. Oh, the nostalgia....
He was also in Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man though that was a very forgettable film.
I love that movie (and the other one....God, what was it called? "Smoke?") and haven't seen it in years. I'll have to go back to it; I had no idea he was in it!
@@giggles7179 Now that you mention it, I can't remember for certain whether he was in "Blue In The Face" or "Smoke." All I remember is that he was the one who told the story about working in a chicken restaurant (strange coincidence!). Wearing his ever-present hat, of course! :-)
Giancarlo is basically saying: I WANNA DO A GUS SPINOFF. And we all want it too x)
Giancarlo has always been one of the greatest NY classic actors of all time since the 80/90s…just watch him in “Fresh” OMG… he makes this series …I think all of us can agree that we aren’t all for Prequels but God almighty..this is something we would love because of his talent & Gilligan. It may surpass BB if done right.
Giancarlo is an underrated actor who is one of the best actors out there today!
The greatest answer to any actor(tress) playing a villain. “ My Evil side, my alter ego.” How many times has that same question been asked?
OMG! A Gus spinoff would be awesome! Seeing how he made his way into the US and grew his business; both businesses.
There should definitely be a spinoff with Gus Fring and friends. PLEASE
Would love to see more of Gus Fring.
Giancarlo Esposito has to be one of the greatest actors of this generation. There's just no other way to word it. He's got to be a top 10
Giancarlo is a great actor from his days with spike Lee in school daze and do the right thing to the present.
I have mixed feelings about a Gus spinoff. It would be nice to explore his history in Chile with Max and Peter Schuler and how Eladio and the Salamancas come to know about him. But, what makes Gus so terrifying and mysterious is we do not know his backstory. If we know his backstory, the whole air of mystery about Gus vanishes unless Vince and Peter manage to make it work which I'm sure they will.
I would ABSOLUTELY watch a Gus Fring show.
They need to make a Gus/Salamanca spinoff!
I’d love to hear him talk about his time as an actor/artist in cool NYC of the late 70s-early 80s. He was hanging around real cutting edge artists back then and I’ve never heard anyone interview him about that.
rewatching last season to get ready for this new season. One of the great all time shows
Mr. Esposito is brilliant in this role. Has he received an Emmy for this performance?
He was nominated, but he didn't win it. IIRC they gave it to Tyrion Lannister actor
He should have gotten an Emmy for… I think it was season 4 of BCS? The episode where he gives that epic monologue about the lucuma tree and the coati. Ah well, rubes never appreciate the greatest moments.
Theres so much they can build upon these characters which is amazing.
The beautiful thing is that de-aging tech should get exponentially cheaper and more potent over the next decade, so we could absolutely see Giancarlo reprise his role without a recasting.
I think a spin off about Gustavo would be great with a young, up and coming actor playing him but Giancarlo being the narrator as the older guy, which will chronicle his life from his child hood in Chile up until the events of Better Call Saul. This also means we will see younger versions of Hector, Don Eladio, Juan Bolsa & Co. And Vince Gilligan has a knack for finding talent so this wouldn't be a oroblem. And they can also create a slew of new, interesting characters which is HOW you make a prequel series great (I mean BCS gave us Kim, Howard Hamlin, Nacho, Chuck and Lalo to name a few).
Los Pollos Hermanos would be an amazing Gus Fring prequel
3:01 Gus entered the chat. This guy is just unbelievable.
Gus Fring is one of my favourite characters ever played.
Lalo was steaming wild mad at the end after being betrayed.. Can't wait until next Sunday
The best bet is to a gus fring movie right after better call saul
A Gustavo Fring Spinoff series is definitely the best way to go, to keep the Breaking Bad universe alive. All of us fans, want so badly to know Gus's origins. How did Gus get from the streets of Chile to Mexico, have enough cash to finance educations, etc. then getting onboard to riches after the Carter killed Max and warned him off. It would be a great story to tell - Let's hope it happens!
Make it possible! A spin-off would be awesome!!!
Interviews with Giancarlo are always interesting, but this one was particularly brilliant.
If it's a spinoff🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
It's gonna be a prequel💯💪🏿💯💪🏿💯
what's with the 90 feet, love it, how no one corrects him, but Gian-C aka-buggin out it's 60ft 6in
Ikr?
Man, I LOVED him in Bakersfield PD. Show was so good, it got cancelled after one season.
Such a fantastic actor, can't wait!
Simply, an Excellent... Conversation!!!!!
I’m into this show. I thought it was canceled. I waited for a while. Can’t wait
"It comes out April 18th of course, you will all see it."
Gus was right again.
As much as I love the Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul universe, and as impressed as I am at how excellent Better Call Saul turned out to be, I don't think I would really want any more spin-offs and I'm ready for the series as a whole to be wrapped up and tied together. In my opinion, a great story isn't complete without its ending, and this story as a whole has been so amazing, I'm ready for its finale so I can finally look back upon the work as a whole. I would also be excited to see new projects Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould could create outside of BB/BCS.
It is so true. As much as I really love both BB and BCS, it would feel forced and almost a joke ti have a spin-off of a spin-off. Peter Gould and Vince Gilligan has shown how great there are in world building. Creating a fresh universe or simply adapting a novel with their vision is what I hope they are intent of doing next.
I agree - sometimes letting the audience want more is the masterpiece. When the audience has more but loses interest, it can spoil/sour the earlier seasons in hindsight.
Maybe not a full series but maybe a mini series could work. Giancarlo is awesome. So I would be all for something like that.
Your talking crazy! If they actually make a 2nd spin off this would be one of the most epic moments in the history! And solidify each show in its entirety as probably the greatest tv series in history! Hands down! Debate me if you want
@@aA2GuNZz lol I like your idea of debating but this is all subjective. I just don't want to dilute what has already been done.
Well, with today's announcement, what Giancarlo implies here is that he directed one of the episodes in Better Call Saul Season 6, not the spinoff
Dean, big brother almighty!!!! Been a fan since School Daze!!
Jesus, this guy. He's so good at what he does. All the depth and sophistication not just in his character but also in him. How can you not respect Giancarlo Esposito?
My fav character in bb and bcs. I find him so intriguing and he plays the character remarkably
Haven't been so invested in a TV show like that since Mad Men's final season.
honestly I dont want to know more about Gus so there is more mystery as gianc says but I WANT IT ANYWAY haha. I dont want this BB universe filming to basicly ever end LOL
This gentleman is the only reason why tuned in in Netflix Better call Saul💯♥
Yes! More spin-offs!!!
People binge watch these with great enjoyment...This *basically means that 60-hour film Is can be released and this not be a problem. Okay, it might be a small difference between back-to-back episode/season watching, and a flim which plays right through, but somehow it feels significant. It should be ...
I would want one, but idk if they could use the same actor and i don't think id want one without him in it
I could see a third installment that follows the rise of Gus Fring, the Salamanca's etc.
It would be great if Rich started to ring a desk bell at the end
Or maybe a spinoff about Gus, from the time he was in Chile ("and the things he did there"). At the end, it would be nice to get a trilogy of series "tied backwards".
A Gus spinoff would be good, but I think his story is concluded.
I would like a Lalo spinoff instead, or the rise of the Salamanca Family.
An amazing actor❤
He is one fabulous actor.
Two brilliant movies with this actor in them are. . . “Nothing to lose”, and “bob roberts”. . . Both are Tim Robbins movies, both have Gus in them, and both are perfect films from the 90s.
He was also in 'Trading Places' and 'The Usual Suspects'.
@@fabriziocarota3694 what really? Where was he in trading places?
@@kf8346 in the scene where Eddie Murphy mocks Bruce Lee.. look closely and you'll see a very young GE. He played Detective Baer in 'The Usual Suspects'.
@@fabriziocarota3694 oh wow, he looks 15 years old. I never would have made that connection.
Met him and got a selfie in an Albuquerque sushi joint. Pleasant guy.
I would love a Gus Fring spinoff more than anybody else, but I don't thing it would work out, sadly. Not because there isn't a story to tell - there definitely is! However, Giancarlo is already noticeably older in BCS than he was in BrBa. Obviously you would expect that because Better Call Saul was filmed years after Breaking Bad, but with this being a prequel and all, it is kind of unfortunate that that;s the case.
Now think about a Gus Fring spinoff, which would have to take place before / be a prequel to Better Call Saul. It just wouldn't work because you'd have an actor that is very clearly at least 20 years older than the character he is portraying, so it wouldn't be believable.
Giancarlo is awesome! woooooooot!
A Lalo spinoff would be the best show ever
Yes, do a Gus spinoff!!!❤
I was expecting Gus' intimidating, low, Spanish inflected rumble. Giancarlo's actual voice caught me off guard
oh a gus fring spinoff prequel. i was hoping for a nacho spinoff. i do want to see gus come up though
They should do a prequel about gus and his rise
Amzing acting in the whole show
I'm just as excited about the final season as I am about Brady coming back
Can’t wait
BCS is one of my favorite shows
"Aaron Paul is a 50 year old playing a 20 year old. Where do we draw the line?" - Johnathan Banks
awesome actor
Giancarlo Is a brilliant actor!!!
Nobody could play Gus as marvelously as this guy
He's wearing the Heisenberg hat LOLOL!! I love it.
