  • We finally left Grenada and made our way to the Grenadines!!! In this episode, we sailed our Leopard 45 catamaran to Sandy Island, Carriacou. Then we left and headed toward the Sandy Lane Marina Resort on Canouan to pump out our clogged holding tank and enjoy a few days at the pool. The sail there was great. We hand-steered our way through the reefs of the Tobago Cays. Jeff did a great job by not hitting any of them!
We had a great time at the marina and ended our stay watching the sunset from the hill while sipping champagne and keeping the turtles at bay.
    Thanks for watching!

Sandy Lane looked amazing. I hope you show us more of the Grenadines, as I will be there in a month for my last sailing classes so I can bareboat a cat myself next time. You two are living my retirement dream. Be safe, have fun and thanks for sharing your videos.

We had a whole reel from Tobago Cays which our friggin GoPro ate 😡. But Adrienne is putting together now what we have. Thanks for the wonderful comment and best of luck on finishing your classes. Let us know if you need any info on the area down here

Love your content! We chartered a catamaran in 2019 and sailed through St. Vincent and the Grenadines. We visited the islands you mention and had a wonderful holiday. Happy life to you both.

Thanks very much! It’s a great place to charter. Also Martinique and Dominica which we will be showing shortly. We have lots of other videos from Bahamas, New England, Florida, etc.. Check them out when you get some free time. 😊

Thank you! It’s one of my favorite parts of sailing now. It used to absolutely terrify me 😁

The Grenadines are also popular for folks looking for a good Shirley Temple or Roy Rogers. 😄

Those freakin turtles always go for the good stuff. And they’re really fast when there’s French truffle Gruyère cheese lying around. 😁 We’re just hanging in Rodney Bay marina putting stuff together for our two week trip home on Monday. Hope all is well with you two. 🥰

Nice video but you kinda left us hanging. Did you get the pump out? lol Not me this time

😂 Yea we should have went into more detail. We got the pump out but it didn’t fix the clog. This time it was below the holding tank between the valves underneath it and the thruhull. So we removed the hose from the thruhull and jammed a lifeline in from below. You’ve never seen me jump so high when it all came out!

I saw a video were an airhorn was used to clear a clog in the engine intake hose. Disconnected the hose from the engine, put the hose into an airhorn and gave it a squeeze. I cleared the clog out of the thru hull.
