I honestly loved Berbatov more than Tevez. I don't know if it was because of Tevez going to City or not, but Berbatov brought a certain...finesse to the team. He was extremely talented and gifted. Tevez was a little workhorse, but Berba had some really world-class touches and finishes that elevated our performance. I don't think anyone will ever forget that play on the touchline to get around the West Ham defender and set up the goal for Ronaldo (and Tevez was actually in that match). Not taking anything away from Tevez, but Berbatov just captivated me whenever I watched him.

Rooney is world-class, but those two players just captivated me with their technical ability. Everything was calculated and precise. Of course they had their off days, but you could see exactly why they were brought into the side and how they fit into the team. Rooney to be that presence up top, Ronaldo the presence on the wing, and that special someone to be the glue between the two. That was Berba in my eyes.

That was probably Fergusons best team along with the 99 team

City fans should never forget Carlos Tevez. Unlike our teams today, Tevez had the ability to win games on his own and took us to whole other level. It's a shame that the golfing and the touchline incident tarnished his career but we shouldn't forget his substitution and assist against Chelsea, goals against Norwich etc that began our fightback for the first title.

Watching these two on Match of the Day growing up, never thinking of them analysing football together. They rival, they banter and they respect what each did in the game. I love rivalry like this, same as Shaquille O’Neil & Charles Barkley.

Ashley Cole bucks the rule of leaving a boyhood club to a fierce rival and it being the right decision. Won everything at club level and became the best LB in PL history, even though he burned his bridges at Arsenal. Hard to admit coming from an arsenal fan.

Would it have been that bad if he had stayed? Might not have won as many medals but would still be rich and a league and club and England legend.
Instead he has that big dark stain on his record as a bit of a mercenary.

Forlan was one of those players who was at the right club at the wrong time. Just think, a few years later we had Rooney, Ronaldo and TEVEZ ripping it up, and if you put Forlan in there instead of Tevez I fail to see how it couldn't have worked out. But the Utd side that he actually did join had a very different dynamic and one he obviously struggled to adapt to fully.

    Allison
Trent - Van Dijk - Carragher - Robertson

    Suarez - Torres
