- Elvis the Lightning Scholar has come from Bravely Default II and landed in the world of Orsterra! Elvis is a unique addition to the CotC roster, as he's a character that starts as a 3* but can Class-Up to become a full 5* unit. However, the path to becoming a 5* is not like other units, so I'll be going over the full process in today's video!

It looks like the dev team is compensating us for the Adelle banner and adjusting the Edea and Agnes banners.
As I Could understand the next Banners (Edea Agnés) the first step will be free, or using free rubies

Going to be honest, taking several months to 5 star may have been acceptable in JP but with EN's accelerated drop of good units is going to make Elvis that much worse once he's 5 star-able.

waiting on the hunt drop RNG for a few days to get the 4* and actually unlock the rest of the story/area/last hunt is a mild annoyance, but overall all the free/permanent parts of this collab are really nice.
I've seen mixed opinions on whether it's worth to run Elvis in your hunt teams this week for the extra guidestones, potentially breaking them down into generic gold guidestones. Personally I'm in the "no" camp on this, but interested in whether you think this is potentially worthwhile. Also on the topic of guidestones, do the otherworld hunts continue to have the +10 guidestones for banner characters in their release week, or is it just for the BD characters? (wondering whether it'll be worth saving them up to 6 forms like the other two types)
In JP the Bravely Hunts do not give the flat +10 bonus. Not sure if they will give bonus to Edea and Agnes though.
Glad they announced changes to the BD Collab banners today, though 10 free pulls ain't the greatest since they still won't change the pity, I'm glad they at least did *something*. This will all just go into my "Cyrus funds" bank for when he eventually releases.
Great video tho, I was so confused by all the different things I needed to do in this Collab so this helped a lot.

30 free pull total when agnes n eldea banner drop. Step 1 is free for both banner
At least rubie wise, the pity is going to be exactly the same as it was on JP for Edea's and Agnes's banners. The numbers are different for the pity but it'll take the same amount of summons to hit it as JP thanks to the step-up. However, Adelle is a completely different story and anyone who was looking forward to summoning for her got the smallest possible end of the stick
Curious what happens if you lock yourself out of getting the other Hero Seals for Elvis, there's no way to get more is there.
I'm a little late to the party here.. Do we know the spawn rate of the special Savage King Chomper? I've only been grinding for about a week, but I might just drop it since I have better scholars.
Stuck on 45 both Hero and Hero Sacred Seals, need 50 for both to 5* Elvis... where do I get the final 5? I've literally done all possible areas of acquiring them (Lore Quests, Feats, Chests and Exchange)... what gives? Did SE intentionally not give us the last 5??

Does having Elvis in the team have any effect on rewards given in the otherworld hunts? Does doing the easy Hunt award different results than playing through the hunt each day?
Elvis does not affect the rewards at all.
The main reason to do the Manual Hunts is for the Feats needed to get Elvis materials, since you do not get credit for killing the bosses if you just do Easy Hunt.
Besides the Feats needed for the materials, there are more Feats afterwards that give you Otherworld Heroites, so it's still a pretty good idea to continue doing more Manual Hunts afterwards.
Hope you are feeling better. Where do we actually find Elvis at 3*? Also, who is the best 4* regen hero to get? I think you mentioned Agnes but she's not out yet.
Elvis can be found in Theatropolis. There's a Glory Traveler Story bubble over an NPC standing near the front of the city (it's not Elvis himself).

Can you confirm me that Hero-Softenstone are really in 3F on normal mob ? i miss one to upgrade the tome. Kota tell me it can be found on 3F but after hours farming, i still never drop it... 😅
Softenstone should be on Elites only.

My Elvis is currently 4* however I don’t know where to get the final 3 hero seals. I own 23, the exchange shop has 19 and as far as I can tell the only feat I haven’t cleared is kill huge savage chomper 5 times for 5 seals. So in total I would have 47 hero seals of the 50 needed to 5* Elvis. I only cleared two memoirs for the BD event (Elvis and Adelle 2 Hero S. and Photo Chompers and Travelers 5 Hero S.) Is there a another memoir coming next week with Edea and Agnes for the remaining Hero Seals? Thanks
The other Memoir is Edea & Agnes, yes. I do not remember when it was released in JP but I think if it's not in the game right now, it's reasonable to assume that it'll be out once Edea and Agnes have been released.

How do you get the Savage Gobbler Hero Seals?
Savage Gobbler is the boss for the first Bravely Hunt, I believe it's Lv25 :)
As someone who just started the EN version, can you still 5* Elvis even after the Bravely Collab has finished?

I have a question what is the item otherworlds heroite used for, only to exchange for heroite fragments Or is there another use for it? Otherwise I will exchange everything now
Otherworld Heroites are only used to turn into fragments.
Been playing everyday of the collab event doing hunt lvl 3 manually and still no King Chomper, the last seals that I need T_T
Funny, defeat the Elite minotaur on 2nd level of Bravely Dungeon. It's been a month now and the elite minotaur that does spawn has been a vicious minotaur so the feat still isn't complete. This form of RNG limiting kills games.
I have Elvis 4* and 10 hero seals.
35 hero seals are in the exchange shop.
He is at lv60, got the 10 from the memoirs, opened all the chests, did all the hunts.
But i still miss 5 hero seals.

I am missing a memoir for Elvis. I have 7 Hero Seals from memoirs already and no unread memoirs that gift 3 Hero Seals. Anyone know if I am missing one or do I just wait for the last leg of the event when Agnes's banner comes out this week?

It would be fair if the Devs gave us Agnes free like they did for Cotc Japan players, especially after the way they did us for this entire Collab event, especially those who used that truly unfair banner. I'm sure a free Adelle would be nice but Giving Global the Free Agnes that Japan got would feel much better to everyone.
There is a level 80 and a level 100 adventurer? Are they in different locations or does it get stronger the 2nd time you fight it?
They are in the same location, the Lv100 Adventurer is unlocked by hitting the Inquire More button. However, they are very tough, so it is not recommended to hit that button until you are absolutely ready (and have at least beat the Lv80 Adventurer, ofc)!

Help!!!! After buying the rest of the Silver hero seals i only have 47 left for the 5star transformation.i have checked the feats , chests and Elvis is lvl 60. i have checked the memeoirs and it does say only 2 and 5 silver seals. what am i missing?
The last missing 3 should be made available once Agnes is in the game; I believe it's in a Memoir that features Edea + Agnes.

I have not yet made a video on this but I plan to, haven't had the time/space in schedule to do so yet. And yes you must kill both the Adventurer and her fox at the same time!

So exactly how much grinding is this to get this guy up? It feels like God tier, 24/7 x 4 months to get this going anywhere.
The process of raising Elvis is less of a grind and more of just doing dailies and making steady progress! :)

I definitely recommend picking up some of the new Speed Gear! It can be extremely helpful for Speed Adjustment when you want specific characters to be faster than others!

Hi Shizu, what are your thoughts about the BD guiding lights decision of the devs nerfing it, like for one 15% chance on it and it being only step up paid.
I'll be voicing my thoughts in a livestream in about 3 hours. Also, they announced compensation a little bit after you made your comment, which includes changing the Step-Up Step 5 rate to 50% and making it available with Free Rubies!

I don't play EN, and it's very easy to pull footage from my JP account where I have lots of characters, especially for character guides when they are made before the character is in the game.

They sent out an update. Next BD banners will be able to be with free gems also. 50% chance on last step, and able to do it unlimited times.
I only got 7 hero seals from Memoirs and I can't find the 3 for the 10 hero seals from Memoirs what ???
I believe the remaining 3 should be released with the Agnes Banner, since they're from a Memoir that involves Edea and Agnes.

Elvis can be obtained for free! You can recruit him by playing his Traveler Story in Theatropolis :)
The NPC for his Traveler Story is near the entrance to the city.

This video says 10 hero seals from Memoirs but I only have total 7 available from them. Is there one I need to unlock? It’s not visible at all, completed or uncompleted.

Nope I’m still stuck. Assuming it’s something not available yet. Maybe with Agnes banner. Glad it’s not just me though! Means it will be fixed or just not available yet. Video says ‘2 available pre lvl 4, so that must be the 2 + 5 we have. 3 coming?
The missing memoir for 3 seals seems to be one that involves both Edea and Agnes, which means it probably wont' be added into the game until Agnes's banner is up next week.
@@ShizukatzCotC Also you say in the video that the "Savage Huge Chomper" is the regular boss for the 3rd hunt, but I've done it manually three times and only have 1/5. Is it definitely in the third hunt, or is it the second hunt regular boss?

I cannot find menacing rusalka (body)
In Hall of Heroes: 3F, there is a teleporter that is the most southeast on the map. That leads you to a small path that only has the boss Menacing Rusalka (Body) for the feat and Hero Sacred Seal x5.
How do one get the hero scraps tome i cant seen to find it

There have been 3 - Bravely Default, Nier Automata, and Triangle Strategy, in that order.

Yep! You get one pass for the Event Hunt each day just like normal hunts.
How do you craft E’s Notebook?
After getting the Tome Hero Scraps from a treasure chest in the 1st section of Bravely Dungeon, take it Kota's shop. He can upgrade it with materials from the Bravely dungeon.

Clear Chapter 1 of Master of Fame, then there should be a Traveler Story bubble near the entrance to the city who you can talk to to start the story. I believe you also need to have Nameless Town unlocked.
Does anyone know if the bravely weapon will get a lv4 upgrade like the other weapons with a BT weapon? The bravely fan does wonders for my Lynette but her fire DMG has dropped quite a lot due to the inferior magic attack stat
They do not get a IV version. Players run the Bravely Fun on Lynette for the utility, and willingly give up her damage potential.
If you want to continue running her as a damage role (which is perfectly reasonable as better Fire damage units have not yet been released), it is recommended to use high Mag stat equipment instead.

Yer, I’m done with this game. Not only am I paying to get nothing in gotcha pulls . Upgrading characters now feels like a chore instead of enjoying the game. I liked the story but now it’s not worth it.
I don't really understand what you expected here. Not everything should be free, strong, and immediate. If you don't like Elvis or how upgrading him works, then all you really need to avoid is Elvis himself, not the entire game? Everybody is guaranteed to have A4 100 Elvis in their roster. I honestly don't see how that's not good enough.
@@vdinh143 I expect to not have to spend $300 bucks to get a single character I want when I can buy 3 full priced tripple A games with that money. I also expect better game design than "do all these pointless chores to make this character viable". I'm not a mobile gamer and I only dabbled in Cotc and Echoes of Mana because I loved the series that Square made. But both games are disgustingly greedy, predetory and anti-consumer. it looks like my time playing Square games is at an end, there are too many good games I want to play to waste my time on this morally bankrupt company.

Watching just how long the battles can take based on this video, I don't see the point in continuing with this game. It looks so incredibly boring/tedious.

If you check my recent livestream where I roll on Leon's banner and spark Titi, there is a section at 1hr 42min where I fight the Lv100 Adventurer and absolutely steamroll her. Granted, this is with very late-game JP equipment, but should still give you a rough idea of how easy future content will be with weapon power creep!
