This is an update on my brass Strasburg 475. It had been down for a couple months to get some quirks figured out. My friend was able to get it all worked out and it is running quite well!
Really nice locomotive. It does sound good and that whistle is great. I think it is always rewarding to take a locomotive with issues and bring it up to speed. Looks like you did exactly that with #475. Very nice indeed!
It's running damn near flawlessly. Dont forget it made its "revenue" debut here czcams.com/video/NfUOaoZJ_ck/video.html The 475 used for half this video at least, was Will's.
@@cats5834 No. The steam decoder has many different steam locomotive sounds in it from TCS. Google TCS WoWSound Steam Decoder sound list to see all that it has built into it.
The one set of rods look off on the cylinder slides. Engine looks beautiful, my brain was screaming just because of that. Haha.
The sounds came right of the real engine and they sound just great!

Thank you very much!
Looks and Sounds Great Will. Cannot wait to see this engine running on the Layout at Oaks :). See You There.

Hi Will, great video. How do you upload the sounds and where do you get the sounds from?
All of our sounds are built into the TCS WowSound decoders that are installed in our locomotives.
Do you ask for those sounds to be built into the decoder?
@@cats5834 The decoders come pre-loaded with hundreds of sounds.

So if I were to change a sound on let’s say.. 4-8-2 could choose the Reading 6 chime and it could sound like No. 90?
Now run it into an excavator.
