TheBossGolfs: Dye Fore - Best of the Dominican Republic - Part III

Dye Fore designed by Pete Dye is a great Dominican Republic course. It may be overlooked because of its proximity to the famed Teeth of the Dog and has no ocean-side holes. However, missing the opportunity to play Dye Fore would be a big mistake. The course is fantastic and rides along the top of mountains and down into the valley. It offers beyond spectacular views of the Marina and the Caribbean Sea, towering views off steep mountains to the Chavon River, which runs alongside a large portion of the course. The Dye Fore course is reminiscent of Pete Dye's French Lick, with dramatic drop-off and infinity-style greens, which is one of my personal favorites. Dye Fore has a great layout and a little more challenge than the typical resort course. The course has great elevation changes, with shots over ravines and alongside cliff edges, allowing for each hole to be different and visually unique. Do not miss an opportunity to play this gem. You will not be let down.
