  • In this video I wanted to show you what a CPU bottleneck looks like in a pc when gaming at full load on either the CPU or GPU. This was a fun video to make both for educational purposes and to also get a good laugh at the pure nightmare of running a system like this. I hope you learned and or enjoyed something from this video!

This video deserves so many more views, likes, and attention. It was very well made and well documented. I had this problem and I upgraded to a stronger CPU to pair with my 1080 extreme. Thank you so much for the video.

I agree, it was definitely well made and I don't understand how it doesn't have more views

cpu bottle neck is way worse then a gpu bottle neck. in simple terms

Bottlenecks are like attaching a water hose to a fire hydrant to water your 50 acres of land.

I once paired rtx 3060ti with an i5 4th gen as i waited for a ryzen 5 cpu. I think i only got a 5-10 fps increase from my rx 570 8gb 😂 it was bottleneck central.

@@manelmoyano7080 i had a 1080 extreme and an i7 4790k. Bottleneck central. Got myself the r5 5600 and things are going much better!

RIP like 20 FPS off of your 100+.

@@tristanswart3471 CPU heavy games do be CPU heavy. 4790k and a 1080 is fairly balanced though in general.

Get a 5800X3D and you'll be set. When I got a 3090 my 5600x was bottlenecking in a lot of games. Now the problem is completely gone. 3D cache is incredible, stutter free gameplay

Why they allow power supply to be above that have a directional fan inside the case.?
The power supply fan conflict against cpu fan that will result to overheat in a long use

You don't test GPU bottleneck in this video (which is usually what players expect anyway if they leave Framerate uncapped and Highest playable settings)
And if you want to document bottleneck properly you have to show what limit is reached while running your tests scenario, is it CPU Max TDP, CPU Max Freq, GPU Max TDP, GPU Max Freq ? (from your results here it's clearly CPU Max Freq)
You could have tried to raise graphics settings in your games benchmarks until you reached low 15~20 FPS and check if frametimes are more stable once CPU is not the limit. (Or if the sounds play properly in Fortnite for example)
