There might be a couple more kinds out there, but apparently after a certain point they start losing someo f the agility and become way more tanky "standard" large theropod
@@oshkeet they kinda had to in order to fill the niche, about a ton to 1.5 tons upwards of 6 meters and upwards of 6 feet tall because other medium sied theropods were scarce or werent in their ecosystem for the most part
The main reason Utahraptor is such a brawlic animal compared to others of its family, is because it was attempting to fill the Apex predator niche. Unlike any other member of its family. The morphological distinctions of slightly smaller arms and larger jaws proportionally to other raptors shows they were headed to the big head little arms strat perfected by the mega theropods like Tyrannosaurus and Giganotosaurus. This gives us a small-medium carnivore transitioning into a medium-large carnivore. While they never quite made it there, these weren't animals to mess with. When you have raptors every bit as large as the biggest species of Ceratosaurus, which on its own is on par weight wise with grizzly and polar bears, you know you are dealing with a whole different kind of beast.

Even as a kid I loved the Utahraptor. Hope we see it someday in film (minus the feathers lol) They made my favorite Dinobot, Grimlock, a Utahraptor in the Beast Wars comics.
Ngl i think indoraptor would rock shit out of utah cause of his overall strenght and bullet proof skin and only reson why he didnt kill blue is cause of plot armor
There are more facts and information here than there are in some full documentaries I have seen on television. This presentation was a blast to be involved with. Hot damn was this one fun! From hatching out the look with others of the team cracking open and showing some of the lesser known sides of research and showing just how much there is to know. I think when it comes to dinosaurs we tend to think of all members of a group being very similar and we might paint with a bit of a too broad of a brush. Just because the Utahraptor is bigger than the Velociraptor doesn't make it just a bigger Velociraptor, both have their own uniqueness. It's my hope that if Utahraptors join the Jurassic franchise we will get to see some of that more unique aspects to them. Not only to respect the fossil record but give us something we've never seen before... Amidst the body parts flying into the splash zone of course-
I hear you reused a lot of the music from the T rex vs. P namadicus episode. 0:00 - Intro 0:43 - Speed 2:23 - Armor 7:57 - Mass, fight post-analysis, outro, staff credits
After you talked about the Utahraptor, I remembered a kind of raptor (who is not a raptor species), the Megaraptor. I would love to see these in the Jurassic franchise.
9:09 If only the Indoraptor had a few of the same genes as the Indominus rex 2.0 or the Scorpios rex, not including the Komodo dragon’s self-cloning ability because that would just ruin all the fun, she might or might not have a few more minutes to fight back against a pack of Utahraptors.
Man that would really be something if the Utahraptor was in Jurassic World franchise. It would extremely dangerous compare to the Indoraptor. I feel like they're gonna make much bigger than the accurate version because you know, that's how the Jurassic world franchise just changed their sizes to look scarier and cooler.
@@The_Grim_Raptor I mean I know that but they've still technically have plot armor, just referencing how Rexy although still very powerful would be very very old (even more so if she appears in Jurassic World: Rebirth) now even though Ingen brought the dinosaurs to life through some pretty illegal and non-scientific means (although realism in this franchise was never its main strong suit) Rexy would probably a elder or younger, now I'm not saying she's weak but just saying that she wouldn't fight as well as her younger self, sorry if I'm coming across as ranting btw
Indoraptor was much more intelligent than Utahraptor, and it has a jaw similar to that of a T-Rex, so tbh it probably might have been able to kill a pack of 2-3 of these Utahraptors, considering it has thick hide and jaws much stronger than the Utahraptor.
@@Aressolostheverse4574 Rexy has less jaw power than his real counterpart, and the real T Rex is more robust and somewhat heavier than Rexy. Also, Rexy should be dead at her age, she will be 36 years old and the maximum age estimates for a real tyrannosaurus is 28 to 30 years (where it takes 20 years to reach her adult size, and Rexy arrived at 5 years old) (all this according to current estimates, obviously), and Rexy has fought quite a bit.
@carnogamerx rexy has stronger jaws as the indominus rex who can crush a gyrosphere with her bite and the gyrosphere glass, which is stated in the Claire novel to be stronger than any steel and the ankylosauruses tail club which I'm the wiki is stated to have a swing force of 400 megapascals which is 26 tons of force could barely scratch the gyrosphere and yet the indom crushed it with her jaws logically meaning indominus rex has a bite force Iof over 26 tons and rexy in 2015 had ragged tooth infection and rexy even with infection was stated to have a stronger bite force than indominus rex and rexy in dominion was about 10 tons the real life one 11 but having a wieght advantage really isn't helping irl rex as rexy is still way more pysically stronger than irl rex And it is stated that rexes can live over 100 years in jurrasic guide books
The raptors were based off deinonychus for the book and film. Their reasons are different for why though. Crichton had none and Spielberg requested them to be bigger because he wasn’t “impressed” by the Deinonychus size and increased it more in the movies. Utahraptor isn’t involved. In fact while building the raptor animatronics the Utahrapator was discovered. It had no influence, just happy coincidence that the discovery happened while the movie’s raptors were finishing being built.
Indoraptor struggled with Blue? That struggle is the same as Giga with Rexy. The Indoraptor is ragdolled Blue around the room. if he want to kill the raptor Blue was already was with her sisters. Indoraptor bited her neck, after Blue get tossed to the door where the hybrid went in the room. And still in 1v1 Indoraptor beat all raptor include that utahraptor.
Yeah, it's hard to argue against Blue as she has some really thick plot armor. Just a few movie minutes earlier she got picked up by an explosion and tossed several meters through a window, and walked it off like it was nothing. (A blast wave with enough force to do that is definitely not going to do nice things to your insides. At the very least you'd be suffering from collaped lungs.)
@@pyronuke4768 I know that insabely thivk plot shield. (Which so much avarge today that I realy hate that thing... But literely Blue did no damage to Indoraptor, and the hybrid ragdolled Blue in the entire room, just the camera always focused to humans. (Honestly I don't know why, because that almost cut out the half of the main battle...) But those kind of nonsense that Blue beat the Indoraptor and Indoraptor is struggled with Blue... All Blue did is gice her weight and that's all. And Indoraptor can hurt Blue. Pick up the bright when Blue jumps off the body of Indoraptor if you all not see that. Blue literely did more damage in Indominus rex body, than she did in Indoraptor's body. One thing is plot armor. But spitting nonsense is complettly other thing...

I would like an 1v1 battle face off video between a Utahraptor and Indoraptor...
Indoraptor wins pretty handily. It's over a meter longer and almost half a meter taller and twice as heavy, and is arguably smarter. (Goji compared Utahraptor to wolves, which are fairly smart, but just off what's seen in Fallen Kingdom the Indo has at least primate level intelligence.)
I appreciate the distinction here between real Utahraptors and a Jurassic-ified version! Thank you for clarifying what’s real about the animals and what’s exaggerated for monstrous entertainment.
Can you make a video about the Monsters from Resident Evil? like the Hunters for example
I can already think of top ten brutal ways to die for both the Arklay Mountains and Raccoon City alone…
*Arklay Mountains:*
10.) Impaled - T-002 Tyrant
9.) Beheaded - Hunters
8.) The Face-Stealer - Lisa Trevor
7.) Wolfed Down - Cerberus
6.) Swallowed Whole - Yawn, Neptune, and Lurkers
5.) Primate Mauling - Eliminators
4.) Swarmed - Mimicry Marcus Leeches
3.) Paralyzed and Liquified - Giant Spiders
2.) “Itchy, Tasty” - Zombie Infection
1.) Birthing Brundlefly - Chimeras
*Raccoon City:*
10.) Chomped - Giant Alligator
9.) Tremors - Adult Gravedigger(s)
8.) Human Tomato - T-103 Tyrant
7.) The Plague Sauropod’s Predecessor - Oscar the Zombie Elephant
6.) Human Blood Bank - Drain Deimos, Mega Bites, and Juvenile Gravediggers
5.) Venus Man-Trap - Plant 43 and Ivies
4.) Drawn and Quartered - Licker
3.) The Pursuer’s Weaponry - Nemesis
2.) Golgotha Implantation - G-Offspring
1.) Golgotha Transformation - William Birkin
Utah rlly be pulling the most op raptors
Off topic, but the idea of a *pack* of Mega Theropods would be pants shittingly terrifying.
Now just picture seeing one of those in the dark in the moon's silhouette
Tip. If you see prime apocalyptic have a red dot in the Center means it’s about to burst meaning if the bey hit prime apocalyptic in its weak spot when the Center is red it will burst
10:21-Imagine the indominus rex
Love how it’s colored blue since you that’s a color you don’t normally see in nature with very few exceptions-
Most of the time the jurassic dinosaur antagonists tend to have more warm colors or greyish-
Got here on release (w minutes is basically release) btw if you watch times 2x speed the music becomes very funny
I LOVE UTAH RAPTOR, HE'S MY FAVORITE DINOSAUR TO EVER EXIST. And not gonna lie, I've been waiting a billion years to see a video like this.
Goji centre, I think you should be a great 3D modeller in Universal Studios, you could be a great surprise in the credit scene when goji Center fans see your channel logo and channel name, this clip at 10:07 may make a great scene in Jurassic World 4!
Utah raptors are terrifying. In the book “Primitive War” they were relentless and could blend into any Forest environment, even going so far as to hide in plain sight resembling a fern tree by curling up with their tails upright.
Definitely recommend giving Primitive War a read/listen!
8:54 *"Not much larger than an Utahraptor"*
Indoraptor: 7.3m in length and 3.1m when fully stood up + it wasn't fully grown
Utahraptor: 6m in length and 2.4m in height
There is a difference
utahraptor: 500 kg
indoraptor: approx 1,000 kg
massive difference
Puts the smaller raptors on 1v1

indoraptor is heavily underrated but I do think 3 utahs could beat it in a fight

Goji Center: "humans wouldn't stand a chance against the utahraptors".
My J&L Wilkins 700 nitro express double rifle: "starts singing Mississippi queen obnoxiously loud".
When you were talking about the size range you have only sorta made it bigger. With the largest being 16-20ft long and about 5-6ft tall. Plus being most likely over a ton you've only actually made it taller, though i'm loving the attention my boy utah raptor is getting! Keep up the good work guys! Love the content
2:34 I wonder what kind of dinosaur that is and if universal would ever use it, in the upcoming sequel
Even as a kid I loved the Utahraptor. Hope we see it someday in film (minus the feathers lol)
They made my favorite Dinobot, Grimlock, a Utahraptor in the Beast Wars comics.

That didn’t come until a few months later.
Now I really want to see the indoraptor 2.0
Amidst the body parts flying into the splash zone of course-
CZcams has been asking me if I’m “ready to shop” since the Indominus rex got rebranded.
Absolutely love this type of dino content. Would love something similar to this but for perhaps plesiosaurus
Utahraptor vs Indoraptor whole video

After you talked about the Utahraptor, I remembered a kind of raptor (who is not a raptor species), the Megaraptor.
I would love to see these in the Jurassic franchise.
9:09
If only the Indoraptor had a few of the same genes as the Indominus rex 2.0 or the Scorpios rex, not including the Komodo dragon’s self-cloning ability because that would just ruin all the fun, she might or might not have a few more minutes to fight back against a pack of Utahraptors.

Utahraptor: “ ♪ All the birds of a feather~ ♪ *hard chomp* ”
I love how Utah State fossil is the Allosaurus and not this
Man that would really be something if the Utahraptor was in Jurassic World franchise. It would extremely dangerous compare to the Indoraptor. I feel like they're gonna make much bigger than the accurate version because you know, that's how the Jurassic world franchise just changed their sizes to look scarier and cooler.
Utahraptor: nothing can stop me!
Rexy & Blue: we can
Utahraptor: and why do think you can?
Rexy & Blue: plot armor
Utahraptor: damn it!
I mean Rexy is a literal T Rex, I don't think the Utah would be able to kill her. So the plot armor thing wouldn't be necessary for this.
Love your content keep it up buddy!!
Indoraptor was much more intelligent than Utahraptor, and it has a jaw similar to that of a T-Rex, so tbh it probably might have been able to kill a pack of 2-3 of these Utahraptors, considering it has thick hide and jaws much stronger than the Utahraptor.
@@chikkenFEEET yeah but the Indo did not kill blue who is much smaller and is by herself

Thank you so much! Finally, my favorite dromeosaurid covered on Goji Center!
Rexy 100% needs an upgrade
Why she's stronger than the real life one
@@Aressolostheverse4574 Rexy has less jaw power than his real counterpart, and the real T Rex is more robust and somewhat heavier than Rexy.
Also, Rexy should be dead at her age, she will be 36 years old and the maximum age estimates for a real tyrannosaurus is 28 to 30 years (where it takes 20 years to reach her adult size, and Rexy arrived at 5 years old) (all this according to current estimates, obviously), and Rexy has fought quite a bit.
@carnogamerx rexy has stronger jaws as the indominus rex who can crush a gyrosphere with her bite and the gyrosphere glass, which is stated in the Claire novel to be stronger than any steel and the ankylosauruses tail club which I'm the wiki is stated to have a swing force of 400 megapascals which is 26 tons of force could barely scratch the gyrosphere and yet the indom crushed it with her jaws logically meaning indominus rex has a bite force Iof over 26 tons and rexy in 2015 had ragged tooth infection and rexy even with infection was stated to have a stronger bite force than indominus rex and rexy in dominion was about 10 tons the real life one 11 but having a wieght advantage really isn't helping irl rex as rexy is still way more pysically stronger than irl rex
And it is stated that rexes can live over 100 years in jurrasic guide books
@@Aressolostheverse4574rexy has stronger jaws? Then explain anything resisting said bite

now we need a indoraptor vs the utahraptor video to see who'd win
Could Ark Reaper Queen survive Skull Island
You know it´s a good day when Goji Center got a new video!
“It would likely perform well against even larger berserk predators like we’ve previously analysed.” That video is still cap to this day.
Nope.
while watching this i thought of the meme of the two wrestlers. the one in front (the laughing one) being the indoraptor being all cocky about being the strongest raptor, and the one behind (the menacing one) being the utahraptor
Indoraptor 2.0 anyone?
Me 🖐
Ripper was a prototype, so it wouldn't be illogical to see a video about it.
It would probably get a similar treatment to the Indominus rex.
This video analysis was amazing!!! 👌👌🤟🤟 👏👏
How about for the next video, compare the Utah's to Megaraptor and even Gigantoraptor? They may not be raptors per se, but I think size comparison and how they would deal with the Utahraptor would be interesting to see. 🫣
