That was an unusual voice recital in a relatively small room. Five kids in total, if I remember correctly. She went first, and did fine, considering she was relatively young and new at the whole voice recital thing. All the others were really tough acts to follow, so glad Abigail went first.
Thank you for your kind words. Many people keep asking how she can sing such difficult songs as a 13 year old and make it sound effortless. It's much like an athlete doing something difficult and making it look effortless. She has been involved in theater since before Kindergarten. She has taken voice lessons since 3rd grade, occasionally taking dance classes as well. Its a combination of talent and effort to do something difficult and make it look effortless. I posted this to illustrate that it has been a process, with accomplishments to celebrate along the way. By the way Cady (@caitlynacts) performed at the same recital, so they have both been at this for a long time.
