#1. The entire damn movie.

Yzma is just honestly one of the most brilliant Disney characters ever made! God bless Eartha Kitt for bringing this iconic character to life! hard to believe that the original movie would've been something different entirely.
Well, she was going to voice Yzma neverthless. But Yzma was going to be more ruthless.
Yes!!! It's not all the time that a Disney villain is loved (usually we love to hate them) but Yzma is loved period. Eartha Kitt did an amazing job!!!💗💗💗
The original movie has a song, for Yzma, called Snuff Out the Light. Eartha Kitt had recorded it prior to the idea being scratched in replace for Emperor's New Groove. But the song is available on CZcams and it is amazing!!!

@@RB01.10 They ended up rewriting the whole movie: the original movie was going to be a musical (in order to make more merchandise) and was called Kingdom of the Sun, with Yzma's goal being to destroy the sun in order to preserve her looks with a bargain with a dark god

Though there was a song at the beginning of the film as well as the end (Tom Jones wasn't it?), though I guess you can’t really call it a musical by that point with only 2 songs. LOL

My favourite Yzma moments are: "Wrong lever", "These are my best shoes! I hate this jungle" and the scene in the restaurant

It's hard to pick a favorite moment with Yzma. The cast was great in the movie, especially Eartha Kitt. I found it ironic she wound up stuck in a kitten body, given her most famous role. I always pictured Yzma as what Catwoman might look like in a few hundred years heh.

Indeed. They ended the TV show prematurely because she passed. And she made it very clear how much she loved voicing the part, since children started recognizing her and kept asking her to do the voice.

Yzma is my ultimate favorite Disney villain. She’s sarcastically evil, but flexible. She’s hot headed but also pretty patient. She funny, she’s glamorous, and to top everything off, she’s voiced by the beautiful and talented Eartha Kitt!!! What’s not to love?! 😻
Bonus points: Eartha Kitt's shock of the kitten voice was both unscripted and genuine. That's what makes it so much funnier.

the Emperor's new groove is one of my all time favorite Disney movies...and Eartha Kitt kills it as Yzma, I love her as much if not more than her Cat woman from the 60's Batman series.

My 5 year old cousin is in love with Yzma. She is one of her favorite Disney characters. Every time she comes over she wants to watch the “Purple Kitty Movie” as she calls “The Emperor’s New Groove.”

Yzma is the absolute sassiest Disney villain of them all, and that's saying something when that list includes the likes of Hades and Iago. XD
I think the fact that Yzma chose to poison Kuzco instead simply to "save on postage" makes that scene even funnier.

When this movie was originally released in theaters.. I was 12. Fell in love with it the moment I Saw the trailer. However.. I did not have the opportunity to see it theatrically. Due to that.. my grandmother bought me the VHS tape as soon as it was available.
Cannot even tell you how many times I watched this movie. Yzma.. was my favorite.. even though she's not supposed to be. Eartha Kitt did an amazing job voicing her!

Yzma is one of the best villains i ever witness in a movie & show! And also the oldest female baddie on disney that she also didn't died! I would love to see a new movie,or a freaking new series with her trying to dispose kuzco and his future family once more!
Eartha really caught a bad deal for speaking out against the Vietnam War and for civil rights. I love that she spent her final years doing work that she so obviously loved.

I always though it so comical that Yzma was so done up in facial makeup and thrived on her image, but then her bosom jutted out halfway down her body and passersby would describe her as "scary beyond reason".
One of my favorite Yzma moments is when she stopped by Pascha's home to find out where he was and she introduced herself as his children's great aunt. In response, she was told by one of Pascha's kids, "you look more like my great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-"
And Yzma interrupts "Are you done?"
"Almost: ......great-great-great aunt!" That was hilarious.

My top 3 Izma's moments are:
1) When she is transformed into a cat and says "is that my voice?"
2) Whenever she says "Kronk pull the lever ... WRONG LEVER!" *
3) When Kuzco turns into a llama and in her little tumtroum she says "He was supposed to be dead!
*and btw, Disney should DEFINETLY build a roller coaster in their parks that imitates this ride and gets started with the sound of Izma yelling WRONG LEVER!
