Sand Dune Surfing in California

- Skimboarding down California's largest sand dunes for Kai Thompson's 14th birthday! We took a road trip north and the only surface we got to slide on were the ones you would least expect. While our original plans took a turn for the worst we still managed to have a blast sliding around the Pismo Beach Sand Dunes.

Well done! Happy Birthday to Kai! Stoked to see a kid raised to be a pro surfer. Parents deserve Humans of the Century Award. How much better would the Earth be if people were raised to be stoked? I crashed my brand new drone in the water at Melaque a couple years ago and spent nearly 30 min snorkeling with Salta to find it… and didn’t. So don’t worry you’re not the only one to fudge it up Blair 😅
Condor and turkey vultures both have bareheads. And the condor has white on the underside of his wings. If it was super big and not a vulture, which I didn't see a bare head then that would be a golden eagle. Which is an absolutely awesome sighting.
I can't believe that you scored a case of Guayaki! At the Grand Coulee Safeway, they tend to overstock the lame flavors, and run out of the good flavors. I hope that you got a good flavor!

I was wondering what was going to happen with that spillway--usually the engineers are always watching them and/or have cameras on them especially while operating.

Classic stuff. Spewing you didn't get to go down spillway( probably for best as a few bad injuries may have occurred. For riding sanddunes get a proper sandboard with straps and rub candle wax on slick every few rides. Here in Western Australia that's what is done. Avagud1

nobody confiscated boards... it was all fake.. that spillway is beyond ridable in size.. they are kooks for this one
