I had the same problem. I take the big plug loose. I see that one pin of the 6 was not good inside the plug. When i put this pin on the good place with plastic heat tube. The e4 code was solved. Its very thin cables and the connectors look very cheap.
My bike had shown this error for second and then gone, what is this? is it problem?
p.s. is L3 waterproof? Can I drive it in rain?
If the rear rotary disc is bent this will effect ball I have same problem but its removing the rear disc is the problem,

Just put the controller upside-down. It will be fine after that
